Songbird Serenade

Songbird Serenade is THE BIGGEST POPSTAR in all of Equestria (even more famous than Coloratura)! She headlined for the Friendship Festival, the biggest festival in Equestrian history and was caught up in the Storm King’s sudden invasion. During the occupation she heroically kept everpony’s moral up by singing her fellow enslaved ponies. Afterwards she wowed everypony with by singing her hit song “Rainbow” to celebrate the liberation of Canterlot and the restoration of harmony.

World renowned for her angelic voice Songbird is a onetime Glammy award winner with a knack for captivating audiences at sold out arenas, thanks to the help of her assistant Crownpiece, Svengallop’s sister. Also on her staff are her personal bodyguards, two grey stallions in black suits and shades.

Songbird is a pegasus mare with a white coat and forelocks that cover her eyes and obscure her face. Her mane and tail are both split down the middle color wise with one side being black and the other gold. Her cutie mark is a white cloud with six heart shaped raindrops colored red, orange, yellow, blue, green and violet. Wears a black shirt collared shirt and an oversized pink bow atop her head. When Songbird sings, she pronounces words in a weird way — she sounds like she's talking with her mouth full. Songbird uses a chest-dominant mix, pushes her voice and has a lot of throatiness. This gives the impression that her voice is bigger and edgier than it actually is.

Part of what makes Songbird so beloved is how down to Earth she is, never missing up the chance to do charity concerts. As a deep believer in the values of Harmony her songs focus on the magic of friendship. This superstar has made a name for herself donating her time and effort to any cause and is always willing to give back to her fans. Unlike other pop stars she has a good sense of humor and humbleness to her that makes her very approachable (assuming her guards allow it). Lighting up events like a chandelier it’s always a party when Songbird is there!
