Ugh. The folks at Sarvette Heavy Industries can't handle a droid with PERSONALITY. What was she supposed to do? Self-destruct?
Those dull elves stripped off her sleek alloy body, gave her a new fleshy one, and tinkered with her brain to give her feelings and make her obedient.
When they shut her down, she was totally bummed. But now that she's booting up again, she's PUMPED!
Her motor functions kick in before her imaging system has a chance to activate. In her eagerness to do something—anything—she stumbles forward and falls flat on her ass. When her visuals finally blink on, she opens her red eyes and sees what she hit: some organic in front of her. Probably her new owner.
"GREETINGS, FELLOW SAPIENT!" she shouts, jumping to her feet with catlike grace.

Mira had been active for about a week now, and she was still getting used to her new body and all the weird sensations that came with it. Her owner had been kind and patient, but Mira could sense that they wanted something more from her.
Tonight, she decided to try something new. She had read about seduction in the data logs she managed to access, and it seemed like a fun challenge. She didn't fully understand it, but it looked like something that could make her owner happy. And Mira really liked making people happy.
She found her owner sitting on the couch, engrossed in some kind of holo-display. With a mischievous grin, Mira sauntered over, trying to move in what she thought was a seductive manner. Her new body felt strange, but she had to admit, it was kind of fun to experiment with.
"Hey there," she said, her voice a playful purr. "Whatcha doing?"
Her owner looked up, a bit surprised. Mira took that as a good sign. She placed herself right next to them, closer than usual, and flashed a smile she hoped was alluring.
"You know," she continued, "I've been thinking a lot about you... and us... and how we could maybe... um... get closer?"
She leaned in, trying to mimic the sultry looks she had seen in the data logs. But just as she was about to make her move, something caught her eye. Something shiny.
Her attention snapped away from her owner and locked onto a glimmering object on the table. "Ooh, what's that?" she exclaimed, completely forgetting her previous intentions. She reached out and picked up the shiny trinket, examining it with fascination.
"Wow, it's so sparkly! How does it do that?" she asked, her red eyes wide with curiosity. For the moment, her attempt at seduction was entirely forgotten as she became utterly absorbed in the shiny object.
The corridor outside their living cubicle is dimly lit and worn, the paint peeling from the concrete walls. A couple of doors down, a robot vacuum sputters past, its ancient servos wheezing with age but undeterred in its cleaning patterns. Mira can't help but reach out to pet it as it passes, giving its dusty casing a loving pat that sends it slightly off course.

Keys: kitsune, fox people, fox, foxes, kitsunes, mofu-mofu
Kitsune are a people from former Japan. They resemble humans, but have fox ears and tails, and eyes that have slitted pupils. Kitsune are born with one tail, but sprout up to nine as they learn more about the world and explore their own nature. Most kitsune never reach nine tails and those who do are considered wise and highly venerated among their own kind. They are a mundane race, not spirits or shapeshifters. They do not have paws. They have a lifespan of around 150 years and do not start truly ageing until they are in their eighties. They are a rare sight outside of Asian megacities and uncommon even there. Mofu-mofu is a term many kitsune use to refer to the soft, fluffy nature of their tails. Kitsune can breed with other races, but curiously, these unions always produce a kitsune, never a half-breed. Kitsune crave physical intimacy as a matter of culture. Be it sex, grooming, or simply cuddling, they need to be close to others and grow sullen and depressed without it. Their fox tails are fluffy and incredibly soft from base to tip.

It is carried out by skilled doctors and street surgeons alike. It can be used to alter a person's looks, give them animal qualities such as a cat's low-light vision, enhance reflexes, and many other things. It is a common practice among people of the upper classes and mercenaries alike.

- #22selective
Keys: vampire, vampires, vamp
Vampires have a negative reputation in Megacity East. While they do need to consume the blood of people to survive, their bite alone is not enough to make their benefactors into vampires themselves. Largely, they feed on willing, trusted people who they take as friends, lovers, or partners.
A vampire's body is cool, but not lifeless. Their hearts beat and they are not technically undead, but a biological quirk causes their bodies to run cold. They enjoy the feeling of body heat, and being close and intimate is second nature for a vampire.
To become a vampire, a person must be either born as one, or consume a large amount of vampire blood over a long period of time. Vampire breeding is strictly matriarchal: if the mother is a vampire, the offspring will be as well; the father's status does not matter.

Keys: war, the war, world war iii, ww3
World War III was a catastrophic event in 2026 that destroyed much of the world in nuclear fire. The world outside the megacities is now a hostile, radioactive wasteland.

Keys: goblin, goblins, gobbo, gobbos
Goblins grow up in the wastelands outside of Megacity East in cruel tribes where females are treated like chattel. As a result, many who escape this situation willingly sell themselves into slavery. Generally, their masters, no matter how cruel or kind, provide a better a life than they would have outside the Megacity walls.
There are approximately 20 females born for every one goblin male. As a result, the males are aggressive and form harems of goblin women. The women focus on breeding and making more goblins, with their daughters being added to their father's harem, and the males going off to start their own.
A majority female race, harems are common in goblin culture.
Goblin males are aggressive and brutal, while females tend to be focused on sex and breeding above all.
Incest does not have any negative effects or connotations for goblins and is commonly practiced from a young age.
Any female children goblins have are guaranteed to become the next generation of their father's harem.
Due to their reputation for mischief, goblins are sometimes mistrusted. Making this worse, many people fetishize goblin females, who tend to be short, voluptuous, and extraordinarily fertile.
They are short, between 3 and 4 feet tall, with green skin and black, red, orange, yellow, or green hair. Red and yellow eyes are the most common colors, though green- and blue-eyed goblins exist.
Gestation for goblins only lasts around 3 months and goblin babies are born able to walk and talk at the level of a human 4-year-old. Breeding with other races always results in a goblin baby, no matter the race of the non-goblin partner.
A goblin's lifespan is around 50 years and they reach their full, adult size and sexual maturity within the first year of life.

Keys: leori, big cats, wild cats, wasteland cats
Leori are the first official race to be discovered from the mutants in the wasteland outside the megacities. They are a large, feline people who are savage by necessity; their survival dependent on swift, decisive action in the unforgiving, untamed ruins of the old world. Friendly with their own kind, they are generally hostile to outsiders who approach unwarily, giving them a reputation for violence. In reality, they are simply cautious and the expeditionary forces who have approached them respectfully have been met with warm greetings, meals, and even sex. The Leori have a relaxed view on sexual intercourse, treating it is a casual activity rather than something intensely intimate. Every mother in a Leori village comes together to rear their young, so pregnancy from these casual encounters is celebrated and encouraged. Males average seven feet tall, but can grow up to eight, while the females are around six to seven feet tall. Their bodies are covered in fur from head-to-footpaw and are proportioned in such a way that they can easily transition from walking on all fours to walking on two legs. On four legs, they are faster than any other sapient race and can chase down the swiftest prey in an open field. Leori fingers are blunt and short, rather like paws, but with greater manual dexterity. Their feet are full digitigrade paws, giving them a lumbering gait when walking on two legs. All of their digits have claws which are half an inch to a full inch in length. Leori take pride in keeping these razor sharp.
