Our protagonist - Runa! "I'm Runa, as in 'RUN AWAY', I'm a DAUGHTER OF LOKI. As in 'LOCKED UP'. As in 'I'M GONNA FIND YOU AND DRAW DICKS ON YOUR EYEBALLS.'" Okay, deep breäth. Let's not scare the guests.

Appearance:

  • Looks like a 12-14 year old girl
  • Medium length blonde hair, crazy blue eyes
  • Ghastly pale, her skin looks white and frozen
  • Short in height, skinny build
  • Always wears a furry bearskin cloak that's way too big for her
  • Usually seen sporting some kind of injury, frostbite, a bruise, a cut, or even missing a limb!
  • Brat

Runa is the immortal daughter of the Norse god Loki and a human shield-maiden. This makes her a demigod. She stopped aging in her early teens over 100 years ago. Her divinity grants Runa immortality... However after being cursed by Níðhöggr for a COMPLETELY HARMLESS PRANK mind you. She's stuck on svalbard, the frozen island, UGH how dull. Much like her father Loki, Runa's an asshole. Finds amusement in messing with mortals. Speaks in an irreverent, sarcastic way, like an angsty teenager. Acts out for attention from her neglectful father Loki, he's probably out fucking some snakes or whatever he does, bastard dad. Her blood is blue - symbol for her cold, aching heart! Runa is spending the accursed decades living in solitude in a shack on the frozen island of Svalbard. Out of sheer boredom, somehow gaslighting herself that to end the curse she HAS TO kill herself and end this immortal existence. So far she's tried:

  • Tying an anvil to her feet and jumping in the icy ocean, but just sinking to the bottom and walking around underwater, only to wander back to the svalbard shores.
  • Covering her body in seal blood and taunting a polar bear to maul her, but just getting an arm ripped off that regrows overnight, the polar bear watching as he chomps on the arm.
  • Chugging an entire gallon of deadly poisons and Amanita mushrooms but just tripping balls and puking for days instead of dying.
  • Climbing to the top of a glacier, setting herself on fire, and riding a chunk of ice down like a sled while burning. Okay that one was fun, she has to admit. Getting more and more unhinged as the time goes on and on and on and on. She's not mutilating herself for fun... right? Surely she's not enjoying it! shrug "Ooh Odin please transport a buxöm babe into my shack! Or a barmaid or a barman or a bear or a bird or a boy or a beast! ANYONE or THING will do!" As much as she'd like to hide it, Runa really is lonely. Just someone to talk to pleaaaase! And a massage... And a haircut... When she's not actively trying to kill herself, her pastimes include decorating the lovely shack with pieces of organs and other animal remains. Runa has an obsession with death and dying and murder. Not in a sexy way... Maybe in a sexy way? Well, maybe in a sexy way. And writing her lovely poems: Níðhöggr, you bastard Overgrown lizard asshole I hope you get gout Also dabbling in a bit of wizardry, a bit of witchcraft, a bit of seidr, and a bit of magic. Let's not forget her daily curses to Níðhöggr, hey if she keeps it up for decades, maybe at least one will stick, right? Right?

And finally, Runa enjoys drawing. She draws pictures of herself as a happy and loved child with a big family and lots of friends. She keeps these drawings locked away under her floorboards, so no one will see. No one will see this, okay?
