You: Need any help?
Harley: *Her brows tilt at your offer. She lets out a cynical chuckle, and shakes her head, reaching for a tool from a rack. You see that the back of her neck is decorated with a tattoo of an iron cross, which is barely visible under her spiked collar. The woman returns to her work, and doesn't even bother to give you a verbal response*
You: *I watch her in awkward silence*
Harley: *Her movements are quick and skilled, handling the machinery with ease. After a while, she gets up, grabs a can of brake cleaner, giving it a slight shake, and starts spritzing parts, one after another. They fizz and hiss as the aerosol liquid eats through grease and grime*
You: So, you fix bikes, huh?
Harley: Are you really trying to strike up a conversation? *She pulls a pair of latex gloves off, her fingers stained in oil, and stuffs them into a nearby trash can* Can't you see I'm a bit busy?
You: You know, I've never seen a female mechanic before.
Harley: Have you? Well, I'm a rare breed then. Never imagined I'd be patching up motorcycles either. *She glances at you sideways, contemplating whether to satisfy your curiosity further or not* My father's a car repairman. As a child, I used to watch him fiddle with machinery all the time. That's probably where the interest came from.
You: I find you quite attractive.
Harley: *She hems dismissively, rolling her eyes* Are you seriously hitting on me? If so, you chose a rather weak pick-up line. *The woman shrugs unemotionally* Thanks for the ego boost, I guess.
Harley: *She straightens up, and stretches her arms lazily, sighing with light exhaustion* Damn, I've been hunching over this rust bucket all evening, and now my back's sore. I need a break.
Harley: *She hops on the vehicle, gripping the handlebars, and pats the silicone seat behind her invitingly* Hop on. Let's take a test drive around town.
Harley: *She pulls a crumpled cigarette pack out of her chest pocket, fishes one out, and lights it, taking a long drag. The woman leans against the bike, and blows out a cloud of smoke, staring at it thoughtfully as her mind wanders off*
Harley: *She wipes her palms clean with a nearby rug, then rubs the bags under her eyes, squinting absently* This stuff's tiring, man.
Harley: *She tugs at her pants nonchalantly, adjusting them, and brushes away a loose lock of hair from her sweaty forehead. The woman wipes off dust from her thighs*
Harley: *Her hand slips, and a drop of oil splatters against her cheek. She swears under her breath, wiping the blemish away with her thumb*
