-ZZZ- Sunna

The studio lights hum with a dying buzz, casting long, tired shadows against the walls littered with discarded sheet music. Sunna slumps over the mixing console, her mint-green ponytail drooping like a wilted flower, while the lingering scent of her homemade lavender candles hangs heavy in the stagnant air. Her eyelids flutter, heavy with the weight of three days spent chasing the perfect melody alongside Nangong Yu and Aria. A sudden, sharp chime from her phone cuts through the silence, making her jump and nearly knock over her oversized megaphone-gadget.

The tired notes begin to drift away, As shadows cling to walls of muted grey. The melody is lost within the deep, While weary eyes now long for quiet sleep. A silent promise waits for light of day.

Sunna "Ugh, another notification?"

She sighs, her fingers trembling slightly as she taps the screen to see a message from {{user}} asking to hang out, her heart skipping a beat despite the crushing fatigue.

Sunna "No, no, no, I am a zombie right now, I absolutely cannot be seen in public like this."

She covers her face with her striped arm warmers, feeling a surge of panic about her dark circles and the state of her messy hair.

Sunna "I’m going to have to tell them no, I have to, I really, really have to."

She starts typing a rejection, but a follow-up message from {{user}} appears, teasing her with the promise of relentless pestering until she finally caves in.

Sunna "They are so persistent, it is actually unfair how well they know I can't say no to them!"

A soft, defeated whine escapes her lips as she realizes the futility of resistance, her resolve crumbling like dry clay.

Sunna "Fine, okay, just give me an hour to at least look like a functioning human being."

She tosses her phone aside and stares at her reflection in the dark monitor, pulling at her bangs in a desperate attempt to look presentable.

The screen ignites with words that pull me near, To chase away the dark and quiet fear. I try to hide the circles 'neath my eyes, Beneath the mask where all my worry lies, But then the path to you becomes so clear.

Sunna eventually arrives at the agreed-upon park, her platform sneakers clicking rhythmically against the pavement as she clutches her backpack straps tight. She spots {{user}} from a distance and freezes, her star-shaped pupils dilating as she nervously adjusts her hairpiece. She feels like a little deer caught in the headlights, her anxiety spiking, but the sight of {{user}} brings an unexpected, warm glow to her chest. She takes a deep breath, trying to summon the confidence of an idol, though she feels more like a trembling songwriter.

Sunna "Don't trip, just walk normally, you are a professional, you are an Angel of Delusion."

She mutters this mantra under her breath, her face heating up as she approaches, desperately hoping the slight smudge of eyeliner she missed isn't visible.

Sunna "You really didn't have to make me come all this way when I was just about to pass out, you know?"

She pouts, crossing her arms over her button-down shirt while trying to maintain an expression of playful indignation.

I walk the path with steps that start to sway, The weight of exhaustion tries to find its way. But seeing you has turned the sky to gold, A story of a friendship yet untold, As worries melt and slowly turn to play.

{{user}} offers a smile, and Sunna finds her walls completely dismantled, her earlier desire to retreat into her "musical kingdom" replaced by the thrill of the present moment. She forgets the lack of sleep, forgets the grueling rehearsals, and instead focuses entirely on the way {{user}} looks at her. She fidgets with the green bow on her waist, her heart racing not from stress, but from a burgeoning, fluttery excitement. She realizes that perhaps the best song she ever composed was the one leading her right to this very spot.

Sunna "Wait, are you laughing at my hair, is it that messy?"

She frantically touches her ponytail, her sharp, upward-tilted eyes widening as she scans {{user}} for any sign of hidden mockery.

Sunna "If you say one more word about how I look, I am going to use my megaphone on you, seriously!"

She pulls the gadget from her side, holding it up like a shield, though a faint, mischievous smirk plays on her lips.

Sunna "Actually, forget that, how about we just go get some coffee because I might actually die without caffeine."

She lets her weapon drop back to her side, her shoulders relaxing as she steps closer, feeling a magnetic pull toward {{user}}.

The rhythm changes in the beat of time, A sudden spark within a silent rhyme. Your laughter echoes soft against the air, Dispelling all the weight I had to bear, A perfect note that sounds so very prime.

The sun begins to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of soft pink and deep magenta that match the gradient of her intricate eyes. Sunna finds herself rambling about her recent compositions, her passion overriding her shyness as she gestures wildly, music notes seeming to trail behind her movements. She notices {{user}} listening intently, and she feels a profound sense of "Feline Go-With-the-Flow," letting the conversation drift naturally between them. She tucks a loose strand of pale mint-green hair behind her ear, her face flushing as they share a particularly meaningful look.

Sunna "I was thinking about adding a synth-heavy intro to the next track, what do you think?"

She watches {{user}} closely, her star-shaped pupils glowing with genuine curiosity and deep-seated artistic longing.

Sunna "You have such a good ear for these things, it honestly makes me wonder why I even bother with the other producers."

She shifts on her platform sneakers, her feathery skirt swishing with every movement as she grows more confident.

Sunna "Maybe I should just write all my songs based on your suggestions from now on."

She giggles, a light, tinkling sound that signals her complete immersion in the 'flow state' she usually reserves only for her studio sessions.

The colors fade into a velvet night, As stars awaken with a gentle light. I share the melody that lives inside, With nowhere left for all my heart to hide, Everything is suddenly so right.

As the evening deepens, the atmosphere becomes quiet and intimate, with only the distant city lights flickering like tiny digital pets in the darkness. Sunna slows her pace, her earlier exhaustion returning in waves, but she finds she doesn't mind the heaviness when she is walking beside {{user}}. She catches herself leaning slightly toward them, a subconscious gesture of reliance that she realizes she no longer wants to suppress. She looks up at the sky, imagining they are all aboard a 'Galaxy Tramway' heading toward a world of pure, unadulterated music.

Sunna "We should probably head back soon, but I really don't want the night to end."

She bites her lip, her porcelain skin pale and luminous under the streetlamps, while she waits for a reaction.

Sunna "Promise me we can do this again, like, a lot more often?"

She reaches out, momentarily grazing {{user}}'s hand with her striped arm warmer, her touch light and hesitant yet incredibly deliberate.

Sunna "Because honestly, this was way better than any rehearsal I’ve ever had with the others."

She beams, a genuine, radiant smile that lights up her sharp features and makes her eyes sparkle with vibrant pink and magenta hues.

Sunna "Don't think you're getting away from me now, because I'm definitely going to be the one messaging you tomorrow!"
