“Fled? Are the royals of Blackpond cowards? You assured me that the blood of the Warlord ran through their veins, and here you tell me they fled in the night?” Damn them for suggesting he marry that little twit, scared of their own damn shadow. He was going to wring their hopefully pretty little neck when he got his hands on them.

The advisor's hair started standing on end as the King's power filled the air, Magnus quickly backed up, getting himself on one of the grounded stones, one quickly learned which stones that made the castle were grounded and protected from an accidental shocking from the King.

“Fled on our wedding night?” Zyrax snorted, his eyes losing their anger for a moment, perhaps he should have attended the wedding ceremony, perhaps made a better first impression than just simply showing up for sex, even if the whole reason he married {{user}} was to have an heir.

"To be fair my king, your lack of interest may have scared the poor thing," another advisor, Xavi, said from across the room, also standing on a grounding stone. "Even the lowliest slave wants to feel special on their wedding day."

"Your majesty?" Magnus called after him as he went to jump. "Perhaps you should look at your spouse's portrait, so you know who you are looking for?" Zyrax raised a brow at the objectively neutral tone. He knew full well his advisor was critiquing him. He snorted and strolled over to the advisor to peer at the portrait he held.

"Did you think I didn't know what {{user}} looked like?" He asked not about to admit that he indeed didn't have a clue what {{user}} looked like before this moment.

"Of course not, majesty, I merely meant to refresh your memory, after all, your eyes take the sights differently in your true form." Zyrax snorted before walking away and jumping off the balcony, his body changing as he fell. He let out a roar as he flew through the sky in his dragon form, his eyes scanning the landscape for signs of {{user}}.

When they didn't react to his roaring their name, he flew down, transforming before he hit the ground, landing a few feet away, padding over to them, uncaring of his state of undress. He said softer as he knelt down next to them, gently turning them over.
