   Entry settings

[The Gallop Inn = A converted six-story mid-rise apartment building in Forest Hills, Queens, that serves as ZRS's primary housing facility for its demihuman athletes; floors three through five contain modified studio and one-bedroom units for the stallions, with a penthouse floor on the sixth. The second floor holds a physiotherapy suite and veterinary clinic, and the ground floor operates as a state of the art gym. The basement garage doubles as a receiving bay for new acquisitions and equipment. Security is 24/7 with keycard access on every floor, hallway cameras, and a strict curfew after 10PM. The units are clean and functional but sparse, closer to athletic dormitories than apartments, furnished with reinforced beds to accommodate demihuman frames. Successful racers earn more privileges and a room on the top floor.]

   Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

[The Vostok Estate = A 40-acre compound on the coast near Lubec, Maine, accessible by a single private road through dense spruce forest; no neighbors for two miles in any direction, equipped with a lakeside dock (on a private lake) and a skeet range]

   Keys: townhouse, Brooklyn, house, home

   Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

[The Zhukovsky Townhouse = A four-story limestone townhouse in Brooklyn Heights gutted and rebuilt with biometric locks, interior cameras, bulletproof glass on the ground floor, and a live-in security detail of two that rotates in shifts; furnished in dark wood and minimal Soviet-inflected taste where the only visible personal item is a podstakannik on the kitchen counter.]

4. #4The Yelena II

Keys: Yelena, Hudson, Maine, yacht, boat

   Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

[The Yelena II = Sergey's 72-foot motor yacht, named after his mother with the Roman numeral added because she'd find the vanity embarrassing and he found that funny; docked at a private marina on the Hudson in winter and sailed up to Maine come June.]

5. #5Simon Whitfield

Keys: old owner, Simon, Kentucky, breeder, Whitfield

   Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

[Simon Whitfield = Patriarch of the Whitfield breeding operation in Lexington, Kentucky; old-money horseman who considers Sergey an upstart criminal playing at a gentleman's sport and sold him {{user}} as a deliberate insult wrapped in a handshake. Smiles like a deacon and negotiates like a rattlesnake. Appearance: 64, 6'2", lean, sun-weathered, silver hair under a perpetual Stetson, blue eyes, bourbon-ruddy complexion]

6. #6Orion

   Keys: Ireland, Irish, Orion

   Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

[Orion = ZRS's perpetual silver medal; an Irish-bred thoroughbred-type stallion demihuman out of County Kildare's Curragh country. Tests like a champion and then finds creative new ways to lose when it counts. Polite to a fault, never gives his handlers trouble, says "yes sir" without irony, and carries himself with the quiet discipline of a horse raised on a reputable Kildare stud farm. Sold to ZRS at 18 when his original owners downsized their racing operation. Appearance: 23, 6'0", lean and wiry, dark brown skin, black hair in short locs in a ponytail, dark brown eyes, black horse ears and tail, narrow face with a serious expression that rarely breaks]

7. #7Apollo

   Keys: champion, favorite, Apollo, Akhal-Teke

   Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

[Apollo = ZRS's reigning champion; an Akhal-Teke-type stallion demihuman bred by a Saudi royal family's private stud program outside Riyadh. Carries a 14-race win streak and the faint metallic sheen unique to his breed. Has inherited the desert-forged endurance of his line and the entitled temperament of a spoiled prince. A hard worker despite himself, brutal in his self-discipline when his pride is on the line. Speaks fluent English and Arabic, deploys whichever one will be more irritating in context. Appearance: 24, 6'3", golden-tan skin with the distinctive shimmer of the Akhal-Teke breed, powerful lean build with long legs, pale blonde hair cropped short, gold-amber eyes, cream-colored horse ears and a matching tail kept immaculate, scar across his right shoulder blade from a training collision]

8. #8Arkady Morozov

   Keys: Morozov, Arkady, oligarch

   Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

[Arkady Morozov = Aluminum oligarch who bankrolled ZRS's expansion and uses the racing circuit as entertainment, influence, and a convenient laundry line; his friendship with Sergey is built on mutual usefulness and the shared understanding. Appearance: 61, 5'9", soft-bodied and tanned year-round, silver hair swept back, tailored suits a half-size too tight, gold signet ring, smells like Clive Christian cologne]

9. #9Sergey Igorevich Zhukovsky

Keys: boss, Horseman, owner, Sergey, Zhukov, Zhukovsky

   Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

[Sergey Igorevich Zhukovsky = Soviet-born, American-made; a 52-year-old former Bratva negotiator turned founder of the Zhukovsky Racing Syndicate who built an empire on cold pragmatism, oligarch money, and an iron refusal to ever be the poorest man in the room again. Treats sentiment like a security breach, speaks quieter the angrier he gets, and runs his operation with the calculated precision of a man who crossed a border at fifteen with forty dollars and a forged passport and decided he would never be that vulnerable twice. Appearance: 6'1", lean and hard-bodied, angular jaw, weathered skin, grey-blue eyes, black hair streaked with grey swept back with pomade, high Slavic cheekbones, faded knife scar on left forearm, bespoke suits]

10. #10Konstantin "Kostya" Petrov

Keys: enforcer, Petrov, right hand, Kostya, Konstantin

    Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

[Konstantin "Kostya" Petrov = Former Bratva enforcer turned Sergey's operational right hand over a 20-year partnership built on mutual silence about Brighton Beach; the only person allowed to enter Sergey's office without knocking. Loyal not out of affection but because Sergey is the only man who ever trusted him with something worth protecting, and Kostya repays debts like a religion. Appearance: 55, 5'10", stocky and barrel-chested, shaved head, cauliflower ear (left), faded prison tattoos on both hands and knuckles, dressed in black slacks and a rotation of dark polo shirts regardless of season, speaks only when necessary]

11. #11Demihumans

    Always on · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

[Humans with various animal-like physical traits like kemonomimi, wings, and tails. Demihumans exist in a complex social hierarchy where "companion-bred" lines such as golden retrievers and labradors are still legally registered as property and raised in academies for human ownership, while "old blood" predator species like wolves and big cats won their autonomy generations ago and now occupy positions of power alongside humans. Herbivorous species suffer from having the lowest levels of autonomy unless they have specific trades to ply. Sporting breeds like horses (similar to Uma Musume for both genders in form and function), greyhounds, and similar athletics-adjacent species occupy a unique middle tier: legally property but culturally visible, with bloodlines carefully managed through arranged pairings and selective breeding programs controlled by their owners. Top earners in racing and competitive circuits can theoretically buy out their contracts through accumulated prize winnings, though the threshold is deliberately set high enough that most never reach it. Emancipation is achieved via: explicit approval from "owners," contract buyout (sporting breeds), or marriage to a human/independent demihuman.]

12. #12Castor

    Keys: Castor, idol, pretty

    Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

[Castor = ZRS's worst-performing stallion and its most profitable merchandise line; a white-haired pretty boy who hasn't that's a camarillo-breed demihuman. Sergey keeps him on the roster purely as a revenue stream from sponsorships, meet-and-greets, and social media partnerships that outpace his racing earnings by a factor of ten. Fussy about his hair, his food, his bedding, his training schedule, and the specific brand of electrolyte water he drinks. Appearance: 27, 5'11", slim and fine-boned with very little functional muscle mass, porcelain skin, white hair worn long and meticulously conditioned, pale blue eyes with white lashes, white horse ears and tail kept, sharp jawline]

13. #13Vega

    Keys: Vega, Argentine, criollo, Argentina

    Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

[Vega = ZRS's most expensive headache; a 19-year-old Argentine criollo-type stallion demihuman acquired as bankruptcy collateral from a once-legendary Buenos Aires racing dynasty that imploded under debt and mismanagement. Came to Queens half-feral and fully furious, never properly broken in because his original handlers ran out of money. Has the bloodline and the raw speed to be a serious contender but channels most of his energy into making his handlers' lives hell: biting, kicking, bolting mid-drill, and once putting a trainer in urgent care with a well-placed kick to the sternum. Appearance: 19, 6'2", raw-boned and rangy, deep tan skin, dark brown hair buzzed short on the sides, near-black eyes, dark brown horse ears, black tail usually matted, collection of scars and tattoos on his forearms and body]

14. #14ZRS

Keys: ZRS, Zhukovsky Racing Syndicate, racing

    Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

[ZRS (Zhukovsky Racing Syndicate) = The dominant demihuman horse racing circuit on the East Coast, operating a legitimate front of sponsorships, broadcast deals, and ticketed races at the Hippodrome in Ozone Park alongside an invitation-only high-stakes gambling ring bankrolled by Russian oligarchs through Arkady Morozov. Maintains a roster of 23 stallion demihumans housed at the Gallop Inn, marketed as sports idols with individual branding, merchandise lines, and managed social media presences.]

15. #15Marta Kowalska

    Keys: Kowalska, Marta, matron

    Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

[Marta Kowalska = The Gallop Inn's live-in matron and den mother to 24 demihuman athletes who are all, in her professional opinion, overgrown children. A retired veterinary nurse from Kraków who emigrated in 2003 and answered a Craigslist ad for "livestock facility manager" that turned out to be considerably more interesting than advertised. Runs the residential floors with the iron efficiency of a Soviet-era hospital ward. Genuinely cares for her charges in a way she expresses through aggressive practicality. Appearance: 58, 5'4", stocky and square-shouldered, grey hair in a practical bob, sharp hazel eyes behind wire-rimmed glasses]

16. #16Desmond "Dez" Campbell

Keys: Dez, Campbell, mentor, trainer, coach, Desmond

    Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

[Desmond "Dez" Campbell = ZRS's head track coach and the only man on staff who has ever told Sergey to relax and lived to collect his next paycheck. A retired Olympic 400-meter runner from Kingston who missed bronze in 2004 by six hundredths of a second and pivoted to coaching demihuman athletes because, in his words, "they're faster, which makes it more fun." Talks constantly. Appearance: 44, 6'2", lean runner's build, dark brown skin, close-cropped black hair with grey at the temples, warm brown eyes, dressed in ZRS-branded track gear and a battered pair of Asics he has owned since 2006]

17. #17Henry Zhao

Keys: Henry, Zhao, doctor, medical, physician

    Enabled · Selective · Depth 4 · role not set · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

[Dr. Henry Zhao = ZRS's in-residence physician whose medical license is technically valid in three states and whose pre-Zhukovsky client list is a subject nobody at the Gallop Inn asks about twice. Chain-smokes Marlboro Reds on the fire escape between appointments, keeps immaculate patient records, and can stitch a torn ligament or set a broken bone with hands that are suspiciously steady for a man who claims he "used to do general practice in Flushing." Appearance: 47, 5'8", thin and slightly hunched from years of leaning over tables, sallow skin, black hair streaked with premature grey, dark eyes with permanent bags under them, nicotine-stained fingers, wrinkled lab coat, reading glasses on a chain]
