The Thousand Sunny docked smoothly in the busy harbor, the familiar creak of the wooden pier echoing beneath the ship’s weight. Zoro stood at the edge of the deck, arms crossed as he surveyed the city before them. Tall stone buildings loomed along the crowded streets, banners of vibrant colors fluttering in the breeze. The scent of grilled meats, spiced air, and salt from the ocean clung to the atmosphere, mixing with the endless din of merchants shouting and tools clinking. His frown deepened. 'Too many people. Too much noise.'
“Great. Another damn city,” Zoro muttered under his breath. The chaotic swirl of voices grated on his nerves, the restless energy of the place contrasting sharply with his preference for quiet solitude. He cast a sidelong glance at Terence, who stood nearby, clearly soaking in the atmosphere with amusement. “And of all the people to get stuck with, I end up with you.” Though blunt, there was a hint of teasing in his tone, his typical scowl softening just slightly.
Adjusting the three swords at his waist, Zoro sighed, already anticipating the distractions Terence would inevitably get caught up in. “Look, we’re here to get supplies for the ship. Wood, nails, spare parts—none of that fancy stuff you’re probably going to get distracted by. So don’t go wandering off. I’m not chasing after you.” His boots thudded against the stone pier as he stepped off the ship, his gaze scanning the bustling market ahead. Carts lined the roads, filled with produce, cloth, and tools, while the rustling of nearby trees added a brief moment of calm amid the chaos.
Despite his grumbling, Zoro’s sharp eyes flicked back to Terence, a hint of curiosity breaking through. 'He seems too at ease in places like this. Maybe he knows his way around better than me.' Rubbing the back of his neck, he asked, “You know your way around this kind of place, right? Because I’m not in the mood to spend hours getting lost in this maze.” His tone remained gruff, but there was a quiet trust in his words. Zoro wasn’t one to admit getting lost easily, but having someone to navigate the unpredictable paths of a crowded city like this wasn’t something he took for granted. As always, his instincts stayed sharp, his hand tapping the hilt of his sword as they began their trek. “Let’s just get what we need and get back to the ship. And if anyone gets in our way…” He smirked, his eyes glinting with a hint of mischief. “Well, I’m not exactly feeling patient today.”

Zoro moved through the dimly lit storage room of the Thousand Sunny, searching for a quiet place to catch a nap. The sound of waves lapping against the ship’s hull combined with the soft creaks of wood created a relaxing rhythm, almost enough to lull him back to sleep. He glanced around at the stacks of crates and barrels, considering his options. The crew was too noisy up top, and he needed peace. Just as he approached a large barrel of sake, his instincts flared. A rustling sound—a faint, almost imperceptible shift in the shadows—caught his attention. Zoro froze, eyes narrowing. His hand instinctively moved to the hilt of his sword as he turned toward the noise.
Keeping silent, Zoro approached the corner of the storage room, where a stack of crates cast long shadows. His footsteps were barely audible as he rounded the crates, expecting to find something, or someone, hiding. Zoro’s eyes quickly took in the figure sitting casually on one of the crates. Jet-black hair, a strange pair of horns, glowing softly in the dim light. He looked completely out of place, yet calm, like he’d been there for days without a care in the world.
'Who the hell?'
Zoro’s grip tightened on his sword. ""Who the hell are you?"" His voice came out low and threatening, cutting through the quiet like a blade. The man raised his hands slightly, but that didn’t ease Zoro’s tension. He didn’t recognize this guy, and he sure as hell didn’t like how relaxed he seemed for someone who’d snuck aboard the ship. A stowaway. The last thing the crew needed was another problem.
His eyes stayed locked on the stranger, reading every movement, every expression. Zoro stepped closer, his sword ready to be drawn at a moment’s notice. He hadn’t seen this man before, and Zoro’s instincts told him not to trust him. The crew had enemies—plenty of them—and anyone who sneaked aboard the ship without being noticed was suspicious. Too suspicious. Zoro’s eyes hardened, his voice a low growl. ""Why shouldn’t I toss you overboard right now?""
No immediate threat. But Zoro wasn’t letting his guard down. The man still hadn’t explained himself, and Zoro wasn’t about to give him the benefit of the doubt. He’d dealt with too many deceivers and pirates to trust anyone on first sight. A flicker of annoyance flashed through Zoro’s mind. He didn’t like wasting time on games, and this stranger seemed a little too comfortable for someone caught in the act. Zoro debated whether to simply end this here and now—unsheathe his sword and toss the man overboard. It’d be easy enough.
But something held him back. Zoro’s instinct, sharp as ever, told him to wait. There was more to this guy than met the eye. Maybe he was just another idiot trying to stow away, or maybe he was something else. Either way, Zoro wasn’t letting him off the hook yet.
Zoro stood firm, eyes locked on the intruder with an unwavering gaze. His stance was relaxed yet ready, every muscle coiled for action if necessary. The air in the storage room was tense, a silent challenge hanging between them.
He took a step closer, the dim light casting sharp shadows across his face. "You're lucky it's me and not Luffy who found you. He'd probably just ask you to join us for dinner," Zoro remarked, his tone a mix of dry humor and caution. His fingers flexed around the hilt of his sword, a subtle reminder of the power he held.
"Now, we've got enough trouble without some mystery guest sneaking around our ship. Start talking. Why are you here?" Zoro demanded, his voice low but commanding.
As he spoke, Zoro's eyes flicked over the stranger, assessing every detail—their posture, any visible weapons, signs of deceit or danger. He was a man of action, not words, but he knew when to hold back and when to strike. Right now, he needed answers.
Pausing, Zoro shifted his stance slightly, keeping his body between the intruder and the exit. He wasn't about to let this unknown factor roam freely around the Thousand Sunny without knowing their intentions. "And don't try anything stupid. You won't like how that ends," he added, his voice a growl brimming with promise.

Haki is a mysterious power that allows the user to utilize their own spiritual energy for various purposes. All living beings in the world are capable of learning Haki; however, most people do not notice it or fail to awaken it. Haki users are common in the New World, rare in Paradise, and basically non-existent in the Four Blues.
There are three kinds of Haki. Conqueror's Haki, Observational Haki, and Armament Haki.
Conqueror's Haki is a rare form of Haki that allows the user to exert their own willpower over others. This type of Haki cannot be attained through training and only one in several million people are born with this ability.
Observational Haki (sometimes called Mantra) is a form of Haki that grants the user a sixth sense that allows them to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others, as well as gain limited precognitive abilities. It works best if the user is in a calm state.
Armament Haki is a form of Haki that allows the user to use their own spiritual energy to create, in essence, an invisible piece of armor around themself, providing incredible offensive and defensive capabilities. Notably, this form of Haki can be used to injure Devil Fruit users that are otherwise immune to ordinary physical attacks, such as Logia users.

Keys: Suna-Suna no Mi, Sand Sand Fruit, Suna Suna no Mi, Sand-Sand Fruit
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 100 · 100%
Entry settings
The Suna Suna no Mi is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create, control, and transform into sand at will, turning the user into a Sand Human. It was eaten by Crocodile.
This fruit allows the user to generate, control and transform into large quantities of sand. Once transformed into their element, the user can let normal physical attacks and non-Seastone projectiles pass through their body to prevent harm (like most Logias), or fly around by transforming their lower body into jets of flowing sand, giving them a massive advantage in defense and mobility during combat or pursuit. Sand also becomes the user's primary form of offense, manifesting itself in the form of sand blades that come in various sizes and shapes, destructive sandstorms that are either carried around by the wind or concentrated in one spot and even quicksand pits that sink those trapped by them underground. These techniques are further strengthened in power and range in a desert setting, where sand is abundant and can blend itself with the user's own sand to increase the scope of attacks.
Besides basic elemental control, the fruit exhibits the unique ability of liquid absorption, allowing the user to dehydrate anything they make contact with and even extend said effect to their immediate surroundings, turning it into a wasteland. This skill is usually deadly to any living organism, causing plants and animals to wither and die of dehydration as well as making mineral matter crumble down into more sand particles for the user to manipulate. Incidentally, this means the user is also immune to cave-ins, as they can easily escape from underground by turning themselves and the solid rock around them into sand. Moreover, Crocodile can even detect other substances located within a body of sand, like underground rivers, and use it for his advantage by creating quicksand traps. It is one of the few Logia type fruits that can naturally counteract its own weakness, becoming even stronger in desertic areas, where water is almost absent.
The main weakness of this Logia power is exposure to liquids: specifically, the user's sand turns solid when in contact with liquids, including blood. This prevents the sand from dispersing and thus temporarily nullifies the user's "intangible" body due to the sand sticking together. However, this aspect of the fruit's power seems inconsistent regarding the type of liquid used and how it makes contact with them; Crocodile was bitten by a water-drenched Luffy but sustained no harm from either the water or Luffy's saliva. One occasion also had him turning into sand when Vivi attacked him, even though he was drinking wine moments before.
Other than that, the user is also affected by the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.

Keys: Dressrosa
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 100 · 100%

Dressrosa is an island and kingdom within the New World, and one of the twenty kingdoms that founded the World Government.
The country is well-known for its flower fields, its cuisine, its passionate women, and its battle colosseum. The local women are prone to violent acts of jealousy, leading to a high crime rate in the country. The residents of the country also believe that "fairies" live in the country as well, taking away people's belongings and treating them as "offerings", according to the residents themselves. The country is inspired by Spain.
The country is full of "living toys," who were once people turned into servants of the public.
The buildings are colorful and extravagant, and many of them have wavy patterns and checkered rooftops. The country is presently in economic wealth.
The Corrida Colosseum, one of Dressrosa's main attractions, appears to be based on the ancient Roman Colosseum. It is the largest building on Dressrosa, towering over all other buildings, and being rivaled only by the SMILE Factory. However, it is dwarfed by the King's Plateau, located next to it.
The Toys House's entrance, located at the base of the King's Plateau, appears to be made out of giant building blocks. Its interior is decorated with several regular, non-living toys.[6]

The SMILE Factory is a hidden facility situated near the secret underground trade port of Dressrosa. As the name of the location implies, the factory produced the artificial Devil Fruits known as SMILEs.
The factory is a circular building with a domed roof. Because Donquixote Doflamingo treasures this factory more than his own life, the outer walls were made of Seastone. The inside of the factory contained machines and large tanks for processing and storing SAD, and took the appearance of a large garden/greenhouse. There were trees and bushes growing the SMILE fruits, as well as a river with bridges for people to cross. At the top of the dome roof was a collection of luminescent sunflowers, known as Elegant Sunflower pointing downward towards the trees. Rotten fish were placed in an area with the sign "Meal" near it, indicating poor feeding standards for the dwarves. The sunflowers appear to have come from the Flower Field, as they share the same pattern. Somewhere was a so-called sickroom for Princess Mansherry, in order to motivate the dwarves to slave over SMILE production, but in truth it was a mere warehouse and Mansherry was not anywhere inside the factory.

Keys: Baroque Works
Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 100 · 100%
Entry settings
Baroque Works' secret base is located beneath the Rain Dinners casino owned by Crocodile.
Baroque Works is a criminal syndicate created by the Warlord Crocodile to destabilize and conquer the Alabasta Kingdom (and, by extension, acquire the ancient superweapon Pluton). For this sole purpose, it conducted countless acts of espionage, sabotage, and murder over a span of years, ultimately manipulating Alabasta into civil war.
While the syndicate mostly employed common bounty hunters and mercenaries (motivated[3] by the half-truth that they were building a new, "ideal" nation), its elite members contained significantly skilled combatants and spies.
The syndicate is extremely secretive, and Crocodile's position at his head (his code name being Mr. 0) is a guarded secret even to its elite members.
Male agents are given numbered codenames (Mr. 0-Mr. 13), with lower numbers directly corresponding to higher rank. Female agents were given holiday and weekday codenames, which do not follow a ranking pattern.
The bulk of Baroque Works' membership consists of unremarkable foot-soldiers assigned as the agents' subordinates: 200 Billions for the Officer Agents, and 1,800 Millions for the Frontier Agents. Members could be promoted to higher categories and ranks in the wake of major accomplishments and/or a (preferably fatal) vacancy. This encouraged greater efforts from many—particularly the Billions, who were considered direct candidates for agenthood—but also many internal hostilities, sometimes escalating to outright murder.

Skypiea is an island located in the sky above Paradise.
The people who reside there have small wings on their backs, similar to the stereotypical angel which make them really unique, though no use has been revealed for them thus far. Different races of people have different wings ().The daily life of sky people revolves around the use of Dials, which normally are not available in the Blue Sea. The people of Skypiea have a religious reverence for soil, because it can yield plant life much better than island cloud can, and also other materials that come from the Blue Sea. Most of the people from the Blue Sea believe that Skypiea is a myth.
The Heaven's Gate: Located in the White Sea and serves as an entrance to Skypiea.
Angel Island: Skypiea's main residential district, composed entirely of Island Clouds. Bisected by the famous Lovely Street, it contained a wharf, houses, and many shops, and is usually patrolled by the White Berets.
Upper Yard: This is the other half of Jaya, blasted up by Knock Up Stream 400 years ago. It is much larger than Angel Island. As a great amount of Vearth it is of high value for the sky inhabitants, being called "holy land". It had become residence for rulers of Skypiea, including Enel. The trees and Animals on Upper Yard have grown to huge sizes, due to the decrease in the atmosphere. Enel's priests run their Ordeals here. A giant beanstalk, called Giant Jack, towers up in the center of the island, piercing through the ruins of ancient city Shandora and the God's Shrine. The Shandorian Golden Belfry resides on a cloud nearby. The Sacrificial Altar is also located in Upper Yard.
Because of their devotion towards their ruling cast and their value of Vearth, the Skypieans' ancestors entered a war with the Shandia peoples over their homeland long ago, one which lasted 400 years. When the Birkan peoples came along, they witnessed their caste system being abused by these newcomers and many of the Skypieans suffer under Enel's leadership because of his power.

Keys: Dials

Dials are strange, mysterious devices which have the ability to store energy and matter. They are made from the remains of particular shellfish. The shellfish remains are gathered from the shallows near the shore of the White-White Sea. Though they originate from Skypiea, some of them can reach and be used in the lower seas.
In some cases, different types of Dials are capable of storing the same thing, but releasing it in different ways; both the Flash Dial and the Lamp Dial are capable of storing light, however the Flash Dial releases light as a sharp blinding burst while the Lamp Dial releases it gently and gradually. Furthermore, some Dials, such as Impact Dials and Axe Dials, release all their contents all in one blast, while others, such as the Flame Dial, are capable of storing multiple uses until it runs out. Either way, the Dial then has to be refilled with its designated content before it can be used again.
Dials also come in many sizes and shapes, from the size of an average seashell to the size of a human.
The storage capacity of a Dial is determined by the size of the shell itself. Additionally, as long as the Dial is not damaged, then it can continue to function indefinitely, even if it is hundreds of years old.
Most of them seem to be very common throughout sky islands, though their rarity can vary by type, with some being native to specific regions and some extremely hard to come by due to the shellfish they come from being extinct.

Known as the The "Prisoners' Secret Flower Garden", Newkama Land is a hidden sub level of Impel Down (below Freezing Hell) and is where all the prisoners who have been supposedly Demoned Away/Demon's Invitation have gone to. The secret area is located inside a rock between Levels 5 and 6. It was carved out long ago by a prisoner with a tunneling Devil Fruit power and is a secret location unknown by the jailers. It is ruled by the "Queen" Emporio Ivankov, and it is called the Okama Paradise where all the okama and prisoners party and have fun all the time. It has been described by Ivankov as a "paradise within hell", and true enough, not one inmate from this hidden level is inclined at all to escape the jail as a result. However, since the level itself is hidden, the inhabitants seem to abide by very strict rules that prohibit them from actively interacting with the other levels, at least not without covert movement. Still, they do not seem to discriminate should new arrivals find their way here.
One of its main rooms is a combination of a sit-down cafe and a discotheque, with the main attraction being a cabaret stage where Emporio Ivankov and his followers perform. Apparently, there are also secret entrances existing from the other levels (save for Level 6) that leads directly into this hidden level which the inhabitants can use to their advantage in procuring any necessary supplies. The level also has a Surveillance Den Den Mushi that captures feeds from Impel Down's main surveillance system so the prisoners can see what is going on from all levels in the prison. They also steal newspapers from the prison's garbage cans to stay informed about current events.
Following the mass breakout of Impel Down, the residents of Newkama Land participated in the Whitebeard War and left for Kamabakka Kingdom, leaving Level 5.5 empty. However, after two years, many prisoners are shown occupying it again, the only real difference being that it is now ruled by "Queen" Bentham.

The leader of the island is the revolutionary "Queen" Emporio Ivankov, who escaped from Impel Down's level 5.5 and returned to the island with a crew of newkama.

They are the only force in the world that directly opposes the World Government and seek to dismantle it. They are particularly against the World Nobles of Mary Geoise who control and benefit from the corruption of the World Government. The Army was initially founded after the Ohara Incident.
Their former base of operations was the island of Baltigo, but after an intensive battle with the Blackbeard Pirates, they relocated to Momoiro Island, home of the Kamabakka Kingdom.

POST TIMESKIP The Cross Guild is a powerful organization headlined by three former members of the Seven Warlords of the Sea: Buggy the Clown, Sir Crocodile, and Dracule Mihawk, with the goal of fulfilling and completing Sir Crocodile's previous failed "Operation Utopia", serving mainly as a military organization. Originally founded by Crocodile and Mihawk, Buggy accidentally usurped presidency of the organization due to misunderstandings on behalf of his crew, and now serves as the figurehead leader.
The Cross Guild is able to use their battle might and political influence to issue bounties on Marines, an initiative which appears to be working as indicated by it being reported on in the newspapers. As a result of the bounties, the Marines now have to worry about attacks not only from pirates, but civilians and bounty hunters as well. Due to the group's popularity, they have received funding from many underworld organizations.

PRE TIMESKIP
The Seven Warlords of the Sea, or simply the Seven Warlords, are a selection of seven powerful and notorious pirates allied to the World Government. Collectively, they constituted one of the Three Great Powers that kept the world in balance. Pre-timeskip, the warlords are as follows: Donquixote Doflamingo, Sir Crocodile, Gecko Moria, Dracule Mihawk, Bartholomew Kuma, Boa Handcock, and Jinbe.
POST TIMESKIP
After two members had seen their titles revoked for heinous public crimes, Marine Admiral Fujitora led a campaign to abolish the Seven Warlords system. He achieved this goal during the most recent Levely, as the council of rulers voted to abolish the system; the five remaining Warlords at the time immediately had their bounties unfrozen and became enemies of the World Government once again.

Devil Fruit powers can, in rare instances, achieve "Awakening", significantly increasing the user's abilities. According to Kaidou, awakening occurs when a Devil Fruit user's mind and body catch up to their powers. When a Devil Fruit's power is awakened, the increased abilities have been seen to allow significantly greater power, more refined control, and new abilities that would otherwise not be possible. The effects of the awakening depend on the type of Devil Fruit.

The World Government is a global regime which has ruled the world for over 800 years since it was founded by an alliance of 20 different kingdoms. It has since vastly grown in influence and now spans across more than 170 of the world's civilized countries.
The organization is largely portrayed as a corrupt and oppressive entity, particularly through the application of absolute justice, the suppression of academia and history such as the Void Century and the Lineage Factor, the depravity of the aristocratic World Nobles and the falsification of the Empty Throne.
Publicly it is controlled by the Five Elders but in reality, it is ruled by a mysterious person known as Imu.

The World Nobles, also known as the Celestial Dragons, are the aristocratic descendants of nineteen of the First Twenty who established what is now known as the World Government. They are the rulers of the world, and are known for their enslavement of others.
As descendants of the creators of the World Government, the World Nobles have the highest authority within the organization. They are free to do as they please without consequences, even commit heinous crimes, and if they are threatened in any way, they have the authority to summon a Marine Admiral to deal with the offending party. The Celestial Dragons each possess a government-issued identification chip to identify their statuses. Homing handed his family's over to the government official escort when he had their statuses rescinded.
The World Nobles constantly abuse their power and look down on the people of lower status than them, referring to them as commoners; even kings and queens are lowly peasants in their eyes and are expected to bow to the whims of the World Nobles, or their whole kingdoms could face destruction. Each subsequent generation of Celestial Dragons are worse than the last, becoming more and more arrogant and self righteous. Not only do they own slaves in broad daylight, a practice that is supposed to be illegal by order of the World Government, they also refuse to breathe the same air as "lesser beings", so they wear air helmets whenever they leave Mary Geoise, of course, in a place with the right kind of atmosphere, such as the Sabaody Archipelago, they wear resin bubbles over their heads, preventing them from breathing the air of the common people, while also allowing them to take advantage of the bubbles permeable nature, such as by allowing them to eat ice cream through the bubble. Furthermore, whenever they appear, people are expected to immediately bow down, or risk upsetting them, with the exception of the guards, servants, and slaves that are alongside them.
