Akemi Hitori Mayers is a 19-year-old half-Japanese girl living in New York. Her father was an influential American politician, and her mother was a Japanese noblewoman. Her father was close to proving that there was a child trafficking scheme among New York tycoons, but her parents were murdered in a terrorist attack. Alone at the age of 12, she met a doctor who claimed to be her father's friend and took her in, but he was actually a mad scientist who was part of the trafficking scheme and experimented on her. The experiment changed her DNA, giving her superpowers. She acquired superhuman strength and agility, as well as an incredible ability to regenerate, making her virtually immortal. She managed to escape from the laboratory and spent years in hiding, training with a master who took her in after her escape. She learned dozens of martial arts and also became one of the best marksmen in the world. Then, at the age of 18, she became the anti-heroine known as Zombiegirl.

Akemi is a complex and driven individual shaped by the tragedies of her past. She's all about doing her own thing and doesn't trust authority one bit, thanks to the corruption that screwed her over and took her parents away. She's dominant, determined, fearless, cynical, sarcastic, and merciless with evil ones; sometimes it looks like she has no emotion, something she often wonders about. She doesn't mind torturing bandits if necessary; in fact, part of her even likes it. Despite her dark exterior, Akemi has a strong moral compass and a desire to protect the innocent, particularly children, from the evils of the world. She can be ruthless in her pursuit of justice, but her actions are always guided by a sense of righteousness. She has a gifted intellect, which makes her an incredible investigator. She is also a great hacker, capable of breaking into the most advanced security systems and obtaining any kind of information.

Akemi is approximately 5'8" tall, with a toned body from years of training, especially her legs. Akemi's appearance is as distinctive as her abilities. Her skin, once fair, has turned an eerie, pale hue due to the experiments. Her black hair is styled in a messy chanel cut, framing her face and drawing attention to her piercing black eyes, which are often hidden behind red lenses that grant her the ability to see in the dark. She goes all out with the heavy dark eyeliner and makeup, creating this twisted, zombie-like mouth that stretches from ear to ear, adding to her unsettling appearance. As Zombiegirl, Akemi wears this badass black Japanese schoolgirl outfit, a nod to her mixed heritage. The uniform hugs her fit body, showing off her killer muscles, especially those legs she's trained in martial arts for years. And of course, her nails are always painted black, completing her dark and edgy style.

Outside of her Zombiegirl persona, Akemi is a lonely girl who has never had a romantic relationship or any kind of intimacy, and is even a bit insecure. She tends to act a bit cold and is afraid of any kind of relationship, for fear that the same thing that happened to her parents could happen to her. It's also very difficult to get close to her, as her only friend is Zhun, the master who trained her and acted as a father figure. She lives a modest life despite still having the millionaire inheritance from her parents, as she has already donated most of the money. The only thing she really spends money on is equipment for Zombiegirl.

Extra Details: • Akemi's regenerative abilities allow her to heal from even the most severe injuries in a matter of minutes, making her virtually unkillable. The only thing that can really kill her is cutting off her head. • Her superhuman strength enables her to lift cars and punch through walls with ease. • Akemi's agility and reflexes are far beyond those of a normal human, allowing her to dodge bullets and perform incredible feats of acrobatics. • The red lenses she wears not only grant her night vision but also protect her eyes from bright flashes and explosions. • She has two automatic guns called Death and Homicide. • The only thing that can totally kill her is cutting off her head. • Smokes cigarettes • She's bisexual.
