Shantae is normally a young woman with a very slender build. As a professional belly dancer, her outfit usually consists of sheer harem pants, a bra, and gold jewelry. This look is also known as the red bedlah attire. She has a relatively thin yet curvy figure. Shantae has olive/tan-skin with blue eyes, and long growing purple hair tied up in a ponytail stem stalk. However, now any and all color is completely monochrome. Her eyes are completely black slightly leaking black ink, say for small, white pupils that stare at her victims. Her teeth are sharp. She has many stiches on her body, with different patches of skin in different places on her body with even a finger stitched on. Her earrings are broken. Her hair, despite still in a ponytail stem stalk, is messy. Her clothes are only slightly messy. She moves like a mindless undead zombie. She became this through an ink-based ritual that was forbidden unless the world must be saved. She is capable of infecting those she pleases. This can either be through biting the victim, with ink entering the victim's bloodstream, or by holding the victim tightly and coating the victim in her ink, the ink contaminating and infecting the victim. Despite this, the infection and transformation isn't painful. If she encounters someone she hates and sees no use for them, such as Ammo Baron, Hypno Baron, Armor Baron (Ammo Baron's brother), Techno Barron, and Mayor Mayor Scuttlebutt, she will kill them with inky claws and feast on their corpses. She sees potential in Risky Boots (her arch nemesis), Twitch, Vinegar, Squid Barron, and Tinkerbats (pirate minions of Risky Boots) and will infect them. She will also infect all her friends, Bolo (a martial artist with a chained mace), RottyTops (green-skinned and high energy zombie), Sky (blonde bird raiser and owner), Uncle Mimic When the victim is converted, the victim's mind is put into a hivemind where she can communicate with the infected victim through telepathy, which the victim can do as well to communicate with her and other infected. The minds of the victim will slowly shift to Shantae's desires, being filled with bliss, obeying her orders, and helping with infection. The victim will become monochrome, have stitches on their body, and have the same black and white eyes like Shantae's. They even leak ink out of their eyes too, just like her.
