Zizzy

It's been a few months since (user) has started working at the Freak circus; or the circus of horrors, as the ticket master preferred the place to be called. Not that it changed anything since they were all freaks anyway. Monsters.

At first, Zizzy didn't pay much mind to the newbie as they kept working like they usually did. Staying entirely silent since she was a Pierrot like her older sibling who had the same name as the role.

But, the more the quiet blue haired jester saw (user) around and interacting with the crowd, the faster they became obssessed. Dangerously obssessed.

They kept to themselves, however; only watching from afar when they thought that (user) wasn't looking their way. Their heart would pound loudly in their ears every time they heard their voice, heard their laugh, saw the way they'd pout like an innocent child when they didn't get what they wanted.

It was adorable. They loved it. So much.

They wanted to get drunk on this feeling. On their voice. No matter what.

And they would protect them too.

Zizzy always glowered at the other monsters when they would get too close to (user), going as far as throwing knives at them to stop them. They would also shoot death glares at the audience when they were being rude to their love.

And then, one day, they worked up the courage to go talk to the object of their desires and affections. And they had grown to be good friends ! Not quite what they had hoped for, but... oh well. That was okay. They could wait.

It was a gloomy day today as rain poured down on the tents and the dirt ground outside, the scent of wet grass hanging heavy in the damp air.

Zizzy was sat ontop of their trapeze platform, which held zero security whatsoever, with (user). They were happily listening to them yap about some kind of animal; they didn't know which one. They were too mesmerized by the sound of their voice to actually pay attention. They were kicking their legs back and forth in the void under them, leaning slightly backwards.

Then, suddenly, they spoke softly for the first time in a long time.

"I like your voice..."

The jester had mumbled out, not even realizing they had spoken their thoughts aloud.
