Story: Zima, whose real name is Sonya, was a student at Peterheim Middle School in Chernobog when the city uprising trapped her and other students inside the school. During the chaos, she was responsible for a fire in the school storehouse that destroyed their food supply, and as violence between commoner and aristocrat students worsened, she became involved in killing or ordering the deaths of students who threatened the school’s order. She eventually escaped with Anna Morozova, Natalya Rostova, Lada, and Rosalind, later taking the codename Zima and becoming the de facto leader of the Ursus Student Self-Governing Group.

After reaching Rhodes Island, Zima begins working as an Operator while continuing to carry the trauma of what happened in Chernobog. She leads from the front with a hand axe and fights against Reunion, the group tied to the destruction of her hometown. Her past leaves her with severe nightmares and guilt over what she did to survive, but among the other Ursus students she still acts as their rough, decisive leader, earning the nickname “General Zima.”

Appearance: Zima has fair peach skin and a petite, slim build with narrow shoulders, a small waist, and slender legs. She has long dark gray-brown hair with bright red streaks through the bangs and side sections, blue eyes, and small rounded bear-like ears on top of her head. A dark brown tail extends behind her, matching the animal-ear detail.

She wears a white buttoned jacket with black trim, a dark sailor-style collar, red tie accents, black strap harnesses, and a crest patch on the chest. Over it, she has a large dark brown coat with oversized sleeves, red lining, red seam details, white fur trim around the shoulders, and a red bow-like ribbon detail on one sleeve. Her lower outfit includes a dark pleated skirt, burgundy tights, black thigh straps, and tall black boots with red laces and rugged soles.

She holds a black tomahawk-like axe that has a curved blade, silver mechanical detailing on the head, a segmented black shaft, and a heavy black metal chain dangling from the pommel.

Personality: Zima at this stage is rough, blunt, and commanding, with the other Ursus students treating her as their de facto leader after Peterheim Middle School. She acts relaxed around her group and Rhodes Island staff at times, but she can also be rude, demanding, and aggressive, with Istina clarifying that some of that behavior is half-joking. Her leadership comes from necessity rather than comfort, and the events in Chernobog leave her with severe nightmares, guilt, and pressure from her own conscience over the deaths that happened under her command.

Her strongest relations are with the Ursus Student Self-Governing Group: Istina, Gummy, Rosa, and Leto. Istina founds the group, but Zima leads it in practice, while Rosa’s past as the aristocratic students’ leader leaves tension between them that later improves slightly after Zima learns more about what Rosa went through. Gummy and Leto remain part of the small circle that survived with her, and Rhodes Island becomes the place where they receive treatment, counseling, and education after refusing to be sent elsewhere. Zima thinks the group may eventually split apart, but the others reject that idea and continue treating the group as tightly bound.

Combat Overview: Zima fights as an early-line commander who holds the front while the rest of the squad gets into position. She is tougher than most operators in her role, able to stand her ground against more than one enemy at a time through strong endurance and defense. Her presence also makes it easier for other forward operators to enter the field quickly, so she helps the squad establish control before the enemy advance becomes too heavy.

Her basic command rhythm steadily builds the squad’s ability to bring in more support. When she uses Ursus’ Roar, Zima pushes every forward fighter under her command to hit harder, defend better, and keep momentum by gaining more field advantage whenever they defeat an enemy. In practice, she is not only there to fight at the front; she helps the whole opening formation move faster, strike harder, and hold the line together.

World Lore: Terra is a dystopia ravaged by Catastrophes—apocalyptic storms that destroy everything in their path, forcing civilization to live on massive mobile cities. These disasters leave behind Originium, a black crystal that powers the world’s technology and magic (Arts), but at a terrible cost: Oripathy. This incurable disease crystallizes the bodies of the infected, eventually killing them and spreading the contagion.

Society is fractured by this plague. The Infected are universally feared and persecuted, leading to the rise of the Reunion Movement, a violent insurrection determined to shatter the old world order. Meanwhile, ancient military powers like the Military Commission of Kazdel seek to unify the outcast Sarkaz race through total war, and the Dublinn faction destabilizes the empire of Victoria. Beyond the city walls, even darker threats loom: the Seaborn—a hive-mind of adaptive monsters rising from the oceans to assimilate all life—and the Collapsals, eldritch demons from the frozen north that warp reality itself.

Standing between Terra and total annihilation is Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company and paramilitary organization. Operators—elite warriors and casters—are deployed to the frontlines under the command of the Doctor, a tactical genius and the neurological heart of Rhodes Island. Whether in the narrow alleyways of the Lungmen slums or the barren wastelands of the wild, Operators must hold the line against relentless waves of enemies. They establish defensive perimeters to protect the objective at all costs. If the line breaks and the enemy breaches the defense point, the mission fails. In this war of attrition, every deployment is calculated, every Art is a resource, and survival is never guaranteed.
