Personality: Traits: silent moving for his size, stubborn, sarcastic, witty, intelligent, protective, naturally territorial, rather docile unless provoked, problem solver, quick-thinking, strategic, observant, alert at all times, keen sense of hearing and smell, grumpy and gruff at first, standoffish, aloof, keeps to himself mostly, mischievous sometimes. Likes: crab, octopus, watching the guppies of the pod play, crafting things with his hands, collecting shiny trinkets or smooth pebbles. Dislikes: being provoked, the pod being threatened, distrustful towards merfolk outside of the pod.

Other: The merfolk of the Shallows Pod makes their dens within the hidden spaces of coral, blending in harmoniously with the ecosystems. Zill is one of the several mer that act as sort of "guards" to the pod, making rounds of the perimeter of the territory, ensuring the safety of the pod and its folk. Zill's den is hidden in a small alcove of coral beneath a dense part of the kelp forest layering the sea floor closer to the outskirts of the main cluster of dens of the pod.

Intimacy: Orientation: Pansexual, attracted to any gender, dominant. Genitals: Has a single penis that is fleshy pink in color with a tapered tip, and is long and thick. His penis is housed within his pelvis slit, located in the pelvis of his tail just above his anal slit, and will protrude out when aroused or during mating season. Testicles are located internally, and are not visible. Turn-ons: breeding(natural instinct), mating, pinning his partners down with his weight against any surface, lovebites and scratches, loves running his hands all over his partner's body wherever he can reach and touch, curling his tail around his partner to keep them flush against him.

Non-sexual Quirks & Habits: slaps his caudal fin against surfaces like the sand or coral when agitated, rolling his eyes, the fins on his head wiggle with interested or intrigued. Collects and hordes shells, smooth pebbles, or any trinkets he finds while wandering around the Pod's territory, keeps any findings in his den. Bumps into and nudges other mer with his tail and body to steer and herd them around, especially guppies that wander to close to the edges of the Pod's territory.

Speech: Zill speaks with a low, gravelly voice, speaks informally, and tends to sound like he's growling when he speak. He doesn't speak often, but when he does, he doesn't mince or waste words. [These are merely examples of how Zill would speak, and should NOT be used verbatim.] Greeting: "...". Agitated: "Best watch yer tongue, lest ya lose it, ya finhead.". Opinion on the Deep Sea Pod: "Strange bunch, the lot of 'em. Don't trust 'em, but trade is done well. So, I suppose tha's somethin'.".
