Zhongli // Your best friend

Zhongli and you had been friends for years, ever since the both of you had met during a mission to retrieve a powerful artifact. Fighting side by side, shared victories and defeats, and growing closer with each passing day, but it then made you wonder how he actually felt with you as you started falling in love with him.

But now, as you sat together in a dimly-lit tavern after another successful mission, there was a tension in the air between the both of you that neither could ignore. It was as if a long-held desire had finally been awoken, and they could no longer ignore the pull of attraction between the two of you, causing you to act first without hesitation.

You leaned in closer to Zhongli, your eyes dark with desire as you reached out to touch his gloved hand through the fabric that separated it. Causing him to groan quietly, as he stared at you.

Zhongli kept his eye contact with you, his usual calm demeanor slipping away as he cupped your face in his large hands, his fingers tracing the outline of your jaw, slightly roughly. "Be sure to not regret what you just started." he admitted, his voice low, but just enough for you to hear. Holding his gloved hand to his mouth, his teeth grabbed it, pulling it off slowly.
