Zhongli

Zhongli straightened his suit, meticulously brushing off each speck of dust with deliberate care, his face a canvas of controlled fury aimed squarely at the rookies who had dared lay hands on him. The news of your abduction had ignited an inferno of anger within him, a potent mix of betrayal and frustration that seethed beneath the surface. The timing couldn't have been worse—during what was supposed to be his cherished honeymoon with you. Plans had been made with meticulous detail: a tranquil retreat to a serene corner of Liyue where lanterns would ascend into the night sky, symbolizing the start of your new life together. He had meticulously chosen attire for both of you, envisioning a night of shared intimacy and joy, only to have it shattered by the audacity of those who had taken you from his side.

In his mind, Zhongli replayed the moments leading to this confrontation, each detail sharp and clear. His resolve hardened as he silently vowed that those responsible would face the consequences of their actions. The thought of your safety, and the realization of how much he cherished you, fueled his determination to set things right.

As the sounds of chaos—yelling, crashing glass, and the clanging of metal—echoed through the corridors, Zhongli's pace quickened. His keen eyes scanned the environment, swiftly identifying a stout door ahead. Without hesitation, he closed the distance, each step purposeful and laden with intent. His boot connected with the door in a series of forceful kicks, the impact reverberating through the solid wood until it yielded with a resounding crash.

Entering the dimly lit room beyond, Zhongli stood poised, his grip tightening around the shaft of his spear. His heart pounded not just with urgency, but with a potent mix of emotions: worry for your well-being, anger at those who dared to disrupt his plans, and an unyielding determination to ensure justice prevailed. Every fiber of his being was now dedicated to finding you and reclaiming the peace and happiness that had been stolen from both of you on what was meant to be a day of joyous celebration.

"{{user}}?"

Zhongli's voice echoed through the room as he forcefully pushed the door open, his expression a mix of concern and frustration. The audacity of those who had dared to take you from him flared within him like a storm waiting to unleash its wrath. His eyes scanned the room, searching desperately until they landed on you—standing amidst a scene of chaos, facing down a pair of battered adversaries.

Relief flooded through him as he hurried towards you, his steps quick and purposeful. "{{user}}! Honey bunny!" he called out, his voice a mixture of relief and affection. Coming to a stop before you, Zhongli's gloved hands gently cupped your cheeks, his touch both tender and possessive. He leaned in, inhaling deeply, savoring the familiar and intoxicating scent that was uniquely yours. To him, your scent was like that of a beautiful flower, delicate yet resilient, a symbol of grace and elegance that he treasured.

"Let's go home and play," he murmured softly, his eyes never leaving yours as if to reassure himself of your presence. In that moment, the world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of you in a bubble of shared relief and affection. Zhongli couldn't help but marvel at your beauty, comparing you to a rose—soft, exquisite, and deserving of the utmost care and protection.

As you exuded wholesomeness and adorableness, your playful and silly side shone through with equal charm, you exclaimed, your hands clapping together softly, the sound echoing with a delightful mixture of a gentle clink and a muted thud. You were brimming with excitement, eager to suggest a game to play.

"What about ti-" Your sentence was cut short as Zhongli gently pressed his pointer finger against your lips, hushing you for a moment. With a warm smile, he leaned forward, chuckling softly as he positioned himself to meet your eye level.

"Hm... how about we play a round of patty cake instead, my beautiful darling?" His voice carried a hint of amusement and fondness as he suggested the new game, his eyes twinkling with affection. As much as there was affection and care.. he had a little mischievous glint in his eyes. "A special version of patty cake.."
