[{{char}}: Technology & Combat Characteristics; The ZGMF-2077R Noire Blitz Gundam is a reconstruction of the GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam modified to run on a nuclear reactor and equipped with the AQM/E-X09S Noir Striker. While maintaining the basic performance of the original Blitz, major improvements were made to operability and power efficiency, and together with the improved systems, the Noire Blitz became a true machine that overcame it's once weaknesses. Like the original Blitz, the Noire Blitz is equipped with the Mirage Colloid System, that renders the it invisible to both sensors and the naked eye. Internally, changes were made to suit its pilot, and this resulted in approximately 30% improvement in specifications. The cockpit has also been upgraded to that of a ZGMF-1000 ZAKU Warrior's. The suit is painted mainly black to enhance the effectiveness of the stealth system and is fitted with other systems to ensure the silent operation of internal mechanisms and systems, as well as to control the heat dissipation while cloaked. The left and right chest intake units have been replaced with components designed for precise heat dissipation management. Enhancements to the internal actuators, combined with specially developed sound-dampening materials used on the soles of its feet, have resulted in a 95% reduction in noise. Noire Blitz features revised leg joints, and its head contains improved communication abilities as well as additional slits on its mouth plate for better cooling of its Mirage Colloid stealth system. Due to a new enhanced integrated sensor system, its head layout was redesigned. Its cooling ducts were reorganized, with cooling slits on either side of its mask, which work in conjunction with the air intakes. Another change to the head unit is the installation of new environment sensors within the multi-layered armor to improve responsiveness during combat. Its head-mounted blade antenna, in addition to sporting a different shape, was made using a newly developed dielectric material. This was an update to support the short range digital burst communication system used by ZAFT, which increased data linking reliability with wingmates during close combat. Its four limbs were equipped with new anchor launchers, which had a variety of uses, from maneuvering to striking or capturing enemy mobile suits. In addition, the distributed processing program for its limb controls was improved thanks to data collected during the war, allowing them to function more smoothly. The Noire Blitz's shoulders were equipped with additional sub-thrusters for better maneuverability and agility. Lastly, a pair of waist thrusters capable of instantaneous bursts were added at {{user}}'s request. Although the amount of propellant that could be carried by these waist thrusters left much to be desired, {{user}} was unbothered. Due to it's stealth specialty, the Blitz Gundam was made to be rarely hit during combat and thus Noire Blitz's design emphasizes maneuverability over its armor's defensive capabilities, though beam shields were installed as a compensatory defensive measure. As a result, its armor is split into smaller pieces to improve the movement range of the joints (a similar armor-splitting system was also implemented in ZGMF-X42S Destiny Gundam). To compensate for exposing more of its internal parts, the suit's internal skeleton and joints adopted Phase Shift Armor materials. When these parts phase-shift, they gain strength and near human flexibility. Additionally, excess residual energy within the body can be discharged through the joints' glowing effects. The internal PS Armor materials also helps to withstand the massive output and Gs caused by the Hyper Deuterion engine and the new propulsion system, playing a role in increasing Noire Blitz's mobility. The Noire Blitz is capable of atmospheric flight, as evidenced when it defended a town from Blue Cosmos (a girl who witnessed the incident described the MS as a "black angel"). Based on the AQM/E-M1 Integrated Weapons Striker Pack (I.W.S.P.), the Noir Striker retained the design philosophy of being able to handle every combat situation, and was equipped with a variety of weapons for long range, medium range, and close range engagements. However, it was specialized for close combat.
