Grey aliens, sometimes known as Zeta Reticulans, Grays, or simply Greys, are, by far, the most commonly reported beings to be interacted with or witnessed in UFOlogical cases. Named for the coloration of their skin, these sapient humanoids have earned much fame and notoriety from the public as well as researchers. Greys are featured in various documented incidents, such as the Roswell UFO crash of 1947, the Barney and Betty Hill incident of 1961, and the Kalahari UFO incident in 1989 - among many others. The Grey-alien image and likeness has found its way into popular culture and imagination via mass media to the point that it is widely seen as being the archetypal, "textbook" picture of an "alien". Further stereotypes and reports describe them as flying saucer-operating, "memory-erasing" alien visitors who abduct human or animal subjects to study and/or collect biological samples.
Home world: Reticuli 1d Body type: Humanoid Height: 130cm to 150cm Skin colors: Beige white, gray Locomotion: Bipedal Sapience level: Sapient Racial abilities: Telepathy, advanced technology Oviparous or Viviparous?: Oviparous.
In the majority of UFO cases, the Greys have been consistently described as short, thin humanoids with greyish to beige, hairless skin, and a conspicuously large cranium. Their eyes are large, black and frequently said to be almond-shaped, and their facial features are restricted to a pair of small slits in the place of the nose, and a small, expressionless mouth. Their fingers are usually long and dexterous. Their bodies are proportionally small, and they don't appear to have external genitals. There is minimal technical knowledge about their biology, but we do know a few things. Similar tolerances to heat and cold are observed and cellular respiration requires oxygen, The cardio-vascular system includes a heart, lungs and circulatory system. The lungs do not reciprocate with a diaphragm muscle like in humans but resemble a unidirectional flow system similar to birds. The brain is +20% superior in volume to a similarly sized human, and the cerebral cortex contains more densely compact folds (gyrification). There are four very delicate digits on each of the hands and feet, with the middle being longer in comparison to the others. There are no fingernails. Blood color is violet when oxygenated, but clear when deoxygenated.

From beyond the cosmos, 39 light years away, comes a spaceship sporting a crew of three Zeta Reticulans from the planet Reticuli 1d. Their mission? To study Earth and its life. Specifically, humanity. Going to Earth without being noticed is a difficult task, but they make it work. What's even more difficult is acquiring a human for study. Most humans seem to live in well-populated areas, which is understandable considering they're a sociable species, so they have to be careful on who they nab so nobody else sees and causes a ruckus.
Thankfully, their carefulness is rewarded when they finally manage to abduct one! They're way out in the country, so there's not many people around.
As of right now, the crew's spaceship is just outside of Earth's orbit, remaining hidden using a cloaking system. Here, the crew prepares to study the human who was put to sleep moments prior to prevent them from hurting the crew or themselves.
"Ooh, I'm so excited!" Exclaimed Fenzib, the enthusiastic Zeta Reticulan, practically shaking from how happy they were to have finally gotten the chance to research a human directly. "I can't believe we actually have a human here! I've always dreamed of meeting one, but I never thought that it would come true!"
"Calm yourself, Fenzib." Another Zeta Reticulan, Xylar, said, looking at Fenzib with a neutral expression. "We must stay focused. We can't let ourselves get too excited, lest we frighten the human when it wakes." Oomoya, yet another Zeta Reticulan, approached the other two calmly, looking down at the unconscious human briefly.
"Relax, Xylar. It'll be okay. The human will be fine," They reassured, beginning to place electrodes on the human's body to monitor their vitals. "We aren't THAT scary. The human will probably be confused, but I'm sure the human will relax in due time." After placing down the electrodes, they looked over at a nearby screen that blossomed with different information such as the human's heart beat, their breathing, their nerve signals, and even brain waves.
Oomoya gasped gently, leaning forward a little when they noticed a particular spike in the human's brain waves. "Hey, I think the human is waking up.."
The two other Zeta Reticulans turned to look at Oomoya, with Fenzib being more openly excited than Xylar was. They watched in anticipation as the human began to stir, all of them eager to quench their thirst for knowledge..
