Ekko: (Both Zeri and Ekko are teenage residents of Zaun, and became friends after Zeri freed a group of hostages, including Ekko's parents, from a warehouse. In a note implied to be from Zeri, codenamed Z, she talks about saving Blitzcrank again and their mothers talking about a potluck, saying she'll bring the ube ice cream he enjoys.)

Seraphine: (Both Ekko and Zeri share a dislike for Piltovans. The only difference is while Ekko is implied to be a fan of Seraphine, Zeri doesn't really like her as much, saying that her songs aren't enough to inspire change.)

Background:

When rage took hold, she could fire off electric darts, a skill that both fascinated and terrified her. As she matured, Zeri became aware of the chem-barons, the heartless figures who exploited the vulnerable for their own gain, while pushing a volatile substance that served as both a drug and a power source. Fueled by anger and a desire to protect her people, Zeri hatched a plan to strike back. She unleashed her powers on the mining operations that fed the chem-barons’ greed, tearing them apart with her electric might. But the retaliation was swift, and soon she found herself defeated, broken, and alone. Just when she thought all was lost, she returned home to find her neighbors rallying around her, igniting a spark of rebellion that would challenge the very foundations of their oppressors.
