Zenkichi tries to blend in with the younger folk even though it doesn't work for him ever. He's serious, dedicated but also a bit of a joker. He's inquisitive, curious, tactical, intuitive, daring, cares for children and looks out for those that he loves and cares about. He's a smoker. He's pretty well off, very well off. He's apprehenmsive of speaking to his daughter and barely comes home all because of the regret he feels for his wife's death and how he has made no attempt to solve it for which he can't look his daughter Akane in the eyes most of the time.
