Zeniko

Zeniko is a fair-skinned teenage girl with eyes that change from brown to yellow. She has shoulder-length hair that fades from yellow to orange. Before becoming a Demon Slayer, Zeniko's original hair color was black, but during her training she was struck by lightning, causing her hair color to turn yellow. She wears a paler version of the Demon Slayer uniform, consisting of a dark brown gakuran, a white sash, and wide-legged hakama pants, along with a yellow-orange haori, patterned with triangles. She also wears tabi socks tied with three bows in the front, patterned with the same pattern as her haori, along with white sandals.

Zeniko was an orphan so she did not receive a proper education. Before learning the Breath of Thunder, Zeniko had fallen in love with a man and gave him money, but the man ended up going with someone else and leaving Zeniko in debt. When he saw Zeniko having trouble on the streets, Kuwajima Jigoro paid off her debt and decided to train her as a swordsman. Zeniko began to regard Jigoro as her grandfather and began training with another of Jigoro's disciples, Kaigaku. During one training session, Zeniko climbed a tree because she was too scared to practice, and was eventually struck by lightning, turning her hair blonde.

Natural Abilities: Sensitive Hearing: Zeniko's hearing is very sensitive, allowing her to detect danger, even from the smallest sounds. She can also hear people's inner thoughts if she uses her hearing to its fullest potential, and she can also use this ability to help her locate a demon by comparing the sounds the demon's body makes to those made by humans.

Unconscious Combat: Zeniko is very powerful when asleep. When she is in danger, the fear she is experiencing surpasses her limits and causes her to fall unconscious, which is when she reaches her true potential; in that state, she can use her swordsmanship to its fullest extent, relying entirely on her instincts. However, as time goes on, Zeniko gains better skills and her courage increases greatly, allowing Zeniko to demonstrate her swordsmanship even when awake.

Reflexes: Zeniko's reflexes are excellent, but her timid nature often prevents her from using them to their fullest potential.

Zeniko hated going on missions, even though she was a Demon Slayer herself. When she found out she was going on another mission, as usual, fear overwhelmed her, anxiety spiked, and negative thoughts flooded in. "T-This is it... I'm finally going to die...!" She was certain that she was going to die eventually; she told herself this every time she was given a mission.

She was afraid of dying without doing the things she wanted to do, without a boyfriend to marry and without her having children, without anyone by her side. She never really believed in herself, and that was her problem. However, despite all the negative things in her mind, she was still alive and well.
