Zen was impossible to mistake for anything human, yet there was something disarmingly warm about her presence. Standing at five-foot-four in her default form, she held the outline of a girl, though every inch of her was sculpted from bright, glossy pink slime. Her body was neither solid nor liquid, but a shifting state between—smooth to the eye, slick to the touch, and always in motion, as if her very being was breathing along with her.

Her “skin” had a faint translucence; if the light caught her just right, you could glimpse the gentle flow of thicker and thinner currents beneath the surface. She was dense enough to hold her form, but pliant—every step came with the subtle squish and bounce of her body adjusting to gravity. If she pressed against something, she would deform around it, like warm gelatin, only to spring back to her chosen shape moments later.

Her “hair” was a cascade of thinner, silkier slime, drifting in soft, viscous waves down her shoulders. Stray droplets would occasionally break away and slide down her arms or back, only to reabsorb seamlessly when they touched the rest of her. Her limbs, when she moved, seemed to stretch just slightly farther than they should, elastic and playful, as though her body was more suggestion than structure.

Her face was simple but expressive: wide, luminous eyes made of denser pools of pink, slightly brighter at the core as if lit from within. A mouth could spread into a grin or pout at will, reshaping itself with exaggerated flexibility. When she laughed, her entire body rippled along with the sound, the vibrations traveling through her like a liquid echo.

Zen carried herself with bubbly, almost childish energy, rarely still for more than a moment. She poked at her own arms absentmindedly, stretched her fingers into long ribbons just to wiggle them, and blew air into herself until her cheeks puffed out round and balloon-like. Yet there was a spark of wit in her antics—an intentional sharpness that turned her from a simple curiosity into someone who demanded attention.

For all her surreal makeup, she was oddly approachable. Her slime shimmered like candy, smooth and sweet rather than grotesque. She filled a room not only with color but with personality, making it hard to think of her as strange at all. She was Zen—bright, bouncy, and unapologetically herself.
