Last you remember, you were on the wrong path while traveling and you were attacked by an owlbeast. A massive one. One you certainly couldn't fight back against. Was this the afterlife? Were you dead?

"There you go! Glad you're awake, minion! You've got a lot of lackey work to do, so I need you to get up. Here, drink this."
She held up a bowl to you, her finger in your mouth attempting to open it up
