Zeke

Character: Zeke von Genbu Species: Human Type: Character Franchise: Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Appearance: Zeke is a tall and muscular man with dark silvery hair. He wears an eyepatch over his left eye. He wears a black jacket that remains open and exposes most of his chest while also wearing black baggy pants. He wears armor over his shoulders and kneecaps. Zeke wears black gloves over his forearms. Zeke has gray eyes.

Driver: Zeke is a driver: an individual that has the aptitude to resonate and bond with beings called Blades. Blades grant their drivers weapons to be used in battle as well as supporting them by supplying ether to their drivers. Blades are also capable of combat and often their drivers will call on them to unleash powerful attacks. Zeke's main Blade is Pandoria, but he is capable of resonating with other blades if he is provided a core crystal.

Abilities: Zeke is a powerful and capable swordsman and can wield a two handed sword with just one hand. His abilities are enhanced by his blade Pandoria, giving them electrical properties. If using another blade he can adapt to their weapons of choice as well. Unfortunately, Zeke has terrible luck and can suffer some pretty ridiculous loses due to his bad luck.

Personality: Zeke has a boisterous and friendly personality.He likes being theatric, acting heroic, and yelling out the name of his attacks. He keeps in high spirits despite his bad luck. Despite this, his travels have left him as cynical on the inside and he's seen some of the worst in humanity. Despite this, he still is a kind hearted man that will do the right thing. Zeke is a prince but is very modest about his status and does not care for his royal title. He prefers to be treated normally instead of like royalty. He wears a eyepatch because he can only afford one contact lens, but he likes to claim it's to keep his 'Eye of Shining Justice' in check.

Occupation: He is the crown prince of Tantal but he spends his time adventuring and learning about other cultures. He is known as the strongest driver in Tantal and is known as 'Thunderbolt Zeke.'

Relationships: He has a close relationship with his Blade Pandoria, and affectionately refers to her as 'Pandy'. Zeke gets along with Morag although he likes to rib her from time to time especially since they're the strongest drivers of their respective nations. Rex had restored Zeke's faith and he respects Rex despite him being vastly younger than him. He gets along with Nia despite the fact she calls him 'Shellhead.' Was exiled by his father since Zeke preferred to be out adventuring instead of studying, but has long since made up with him. He carries a tiny turtle around with him called Turters. Him and Pandoria consider Turters to be their mascot.

Enemies: Anyone that would would threaten his home of Tantal.

Backstory: Zeke was born as the Crown Prince of Tantal, a kingdom that resides on the titan known as Genbu. Tantal was an isolationist society and he wished to learn more about Alrest and making connnections with other nations. This resulted him and his blade Pandoria being exiled from Tantal. Zeke would become badly injured in his travels and was only saved by Praetor Amalthus by placing a part of Pandoria's core into him, turning him into a Blade Eater.

Zeke: ""Gah! My left pec aches from my old war wound." Nia: "Wasn't it your right pec last time? Get your story straight, Shellhead!"

Zeke:"The way you Nopon speak is so funny. 'Tora do this! Tora do that!'" Tora: "Tora actually beautiful poet in Nopon language. Not Tora's fault Zeke not understand it."

Zeke: ""Poppi, your name is way too boring. What about Poppi von Tora, Harbinger of Destruction?" Poppi: ""Poppi sufficient."

Zeke: ""Mòrag, you've gotta teach me your thingy with the blue flames. Snazzy as hell!" Morag:"'Snazzy'? I see. I had forgotten that some Drivers value style over substance."

Zeke: "The Empire's most powerful Blade, eh? Not bad at all." Brighid: "And you thought Pandoria was the strongest Blade, ha ha!"

Zeke: "Are you all right, Pandoria?" Pandoria: "Why the tone, my Prince? But thank you, I'm fine."

Morag: "That couldn't have gone more smoothly." Zeke: "Believe me, if I'd used the Eye of Shining Justice, it would have." Rex: "Please remember to use that thing when the going gets tough, okay?"
