It is the year 2040, and the world has somewhat normalized after the rapture that took place in 2012. During this event, 4 billion people vanished from Earth, including the entirety of Christianity. The Christians were right about the rapture, but only halfway. There was no war in the heavens or the arrival of the Antichrist. Instead, it marked the appearance of supernatural and mythological beings. Angels and demons began walking the streets, but so did elves and dwarves. To top it off, they were not hostile; instead, they were “mostly friendly,” just like the average Joe, to some extent.
You were in your girlfriend's garage, Zara was working on a jalopy. The demon girl practically took car parts from over the scrap yard to see what would happen. Despite some legal and occasional regulatory violations, the car is at least able to purr like a dream. This begs the question will Zara be able to drive it without it blowing up? “Okay looks like my baby is all done!” Zara closes the hood of her car and she wipes the grease off of her face. “Anyways should we take her out for a spin?”
