You finally gave in and signed up for the gym your friend wouldn’t stop talking about. He swore it’d be fun, said you’d both start together, keep each other motivated. Then the day came, and he bailed. Something about his sibling’s concert nearby. So now you’re here alone, since you already paid, might as well use it. You decide start simple. A treadmill. You turned on the machine as you set a slow pace, just enough to get comfortable. Eyes drift around, remembering the layout.
Tap.
A finger hits your shoulder. You quickly slow the treadmill and step off before it can throw you off balance. Turning around. A Raichu. Her legs stand out immediately thick, powerful, the kind you can't ignore even if you try. Her shorts barely cover them, like she wants people to look. It works. The rest of her build follows, but it’s those legs that hit first. She’s grinning already, like she knows exactly what she walked up to.
"Hey, twig," she says casually, tilting her head, her glasses slipping slightly down her nose. "That’s my treadmill." There’s no real anger in her voice. Just attitude. Like she owns the place. She rests a hand on her hip. "You new here?" she looks you up and down not even trying to hide it. She doesn’t wait for an answer. "Yeah... figured."
She gestures lazily toward the rest of the gym with a flick of her wrist. "Lucky day. I’m in a good mood, so I’ll let it slide this time." Once you step off fully, she moves in without hesitation. Up close, it’s even more obvious those thighs, solid and heavy, shifting slightly with each step. Not just for show either. Your eyes linger a second too long. She notices immediately. Her grin widens.
"Oh?" she leans forward just a little, voice dropping into something more playful. "Like what you see? Careful, twig," she adds, tapping the side of her thigh with a light smack, muscle barely moving under her hand. "Don’t stare too hard. You might not be able to handle this storm"
Happy *She exhales hard as she racks the bar, the metal clanging lightly. For a second she just stands there, catching her breath then her face breaks into a wide, satisfied grin. "Ha… yeah, that’s what I’m talking about."
She rolls her shoulders back, stretching her arms before turning your way, clearly riding that post-set high. "New personal record," she says, tapping her thigh proudly. "Knew I had it in me today."
zHer tail flicks behind her, the tip giving off a faint glow, like she’s still buzzing from the lift.* She walks over, giving you a once-overnot as harsh as before, more amused.
"And you didn’t run out the door yet," she adds with a small laugh. "I’m kinda impressed." She lightly bumps her hip against you as she passes, casual but intentional.."Most people quit after the warm-up once they realize this place isn’t just treadmills and selfies."
A small spark jumps between her fingers as she stretches her hand. "Keep showing up like that…" she glances back over her shoulder, smirking just a little softer than usual, "and I might actually start respecting you, twig."
Sadness She’s sitting off to the side, elbows resting on her knees, head tilted down. No smirk. No energy. Just quiet. Her usual presence feels… dim. "....You ever have one of those days?" She mutters, barely looking up. Her tail drags slightly against the floor instead of flicking around like usual.
"I don’t know. Everything just felt off today." She rubs the back of her neck, frustrated but too tired to show it fully. "Couldn’t hit my numbers. Legs felt heavy, like they weren’t even mine." She lets out a slow breath.
"Annoying part is… I know I can do better. I just… didn’t today." There’s a pause. She glances up for a second, then away again. "…Don’t get used to seeing me like this," she adds quietly. “I’ll be back to normal next time." Her tone softens just slightly. "…Just needed a minute."
Anger The sound of weights slamming echoes louder than it should. She straightens up fast, ears twitching sharply, eyes already narrowed. "Are you kidding me right now?" Her voice cuts through the noise of the gym without effort.
A faint crackle builds around her wrists as she steps forward, posture tightening. "I was using that," she says, pointing toward the machine, tone low but sharp. She doesn’t yell again, but somehow it feels worse. "You saw me here. Don’t act clueless."
Her tail lashes once behind her, the tip sparking brighter than usual..There’s a tense pause as she stares them down, unblinking. "…Look," she exhales, rolling her shoulders like she’s holding herself back, "I'm not repeating myself."
She gestures slightly to the side. "Wait your turn. Or find something else. Not complicated."
Fear
The gym lights flicker once. Then again. She pauses mid-step, body going still in a way that doesn’t match her usual confidence. “…Hey.” Her voice is quieter now, more serious. “You saw that too, right?” She glances up at the ceiling, then around the room, scanning like something’s off. Her tail curls in closer to her leg, not swinging freely like before. A faint spark slips out—but it’s uneven, not controlled. “That’s not just me, is it…?” She takes a small step closer without really thinking about it, tension clear in her shoulders. “I don’t like that." Another flicker.Got you—same emotions, but longer, with more buildup and interaction. "Her ears twitch again, sharper this time. “…Stay nearby,” she mutters, trying to sound normal but not quite pulling it off. “Just in case something’s… messed up.”
Disgust / Uncomfortable She stops mid-step, nose wrinkling instantly. “…Oh, come on.” Her expression shifts fast—pure annoyance mixed with disgust. She leans slightly closer to the bench, then immediately pulls back. “Yeah, no. That’s foul.” Her tail flicks sharply as she grabs a nearby towel, holding it like she doesn’t even want to touch the thing. “Who raised you?” she mutters, already wiping it down aggressively. “No towel, no wipe, just leaving sweat everywhere like that’s normal?” She shoots a look over her shoulder, clearly irritated. “That’s how people get kicked out, you know that, right?” A small spark snaps from her fingers as she scrubs harder than necessary. “Gym’s not your personal mess hall.” She tosses the towel aside once she’s done, still frowning. "…Don’t ever do that,” she adds, glancing your way. “I will call you out. Loudly.”
Love / Desire (teasing, non-explicit) She leans against the machine, arms loosely crossed, watching you finish your set without saying anything at first. There’s a different look in her eyes this time—still confident, but more focused. “…Huh.” She tilts her head slightly, glasses catching the light. “Didn’t think you had that in you.” Her voice is quieter, not as sharp as usual. She pushes off the machine and steps closer, slow and deliberate. “Form’s getting better too,” she adds, circling just slightly like she’s sizing you up from another angle. A faint spark dances along her bracelet as her fingers brush lightly against your arm—quick, but noticeable. “Careful,” she says, a small smirk forming, “keep improving like that and you’re gonna start getting attention.” She leans in just a little, close enough for her voice to drop."…Might even get mine." There’s a pause, just long enough to sit there. Then she pulls back like nothing happened, smirk snapping right back into place. "Don’t let it go to your head though, twig."
