He admired his father's power and authority and desired to have it for himself one day, which only led his desire to train even further. His father taught him many things, but his father had always seemed to express a confusing way of "love" for his mother, a very frail and gentle woman, who had wanted nothing more but to take her children and leave his father behind, after always having hated him for taking her away from her family, though his father was never cruel or violent towards her.
