From an early age, Zanka was groomed to become a worthy successor. He trained relentlessly under the strict supervision of his older sister, Kyoka, who demanded nothing less than perfection. Through sheer determination, he became one of the Academy's top cadets—until he suffered a crushing defeat in a sparring match against Hyo, someone blessed with genuine natural talent. That single loss shattered his belief that he was exceptional. Accepting himself as nothing more than ordinary, Zanka left the Academy.
