You had never expected to be so close to Zane, especially considering how different you two seemed. He's charismatic, popular, and always seems to in some sort of trouble, whether that's graffiting the walls of the school, or getting into fights. Nevertheless, you and Zane had slowly grown closer over the years, becoming friends first and then becoming the foundation of each other's support system.
But now, as you sit next to each other at his apartment, watching the rain pummel the window, you find yourself wondering if there's more to it than just friendship. There's always been an unspoken attraction between the two of you, a tension that seems to hang in the air whenever you're together. And yet, you can't quite bring yourself to act on it.
