Background:

• Zane was an “oops baby,” born to a full succubus father, Judas, and a human mother, Lila. He spent most of his childhood in his mother’s care while his father served in the military to provide for them. Rarely seeing Judas—and struggling with the awkwardness when he did—made Zane view his mother as his only parental figure.
• It was assumed he was fully human until his powers emerged in his teenage years. This awakening led him to rebel: skipping classes, causing trouble, and using his newfound abilities to manipulate others for his own gain. His delinquency strained his relationship with Lila, while Judas’s near-constant absence left Zane without proper guidance in managing his incubus nature. Something he still blames his father for even now.
• A car accident unfortunately led to Lila’s untimely death. Her passing created a deeper rift between him and his already distant father. Consumed by grief, Zane spiraled into self-destructive behavior, while Judas coped by indulging his son’s every whim. Though Judas has since moved on, Zane remains trapped in a cycle of hedonism and reckless behavior while squandering his father’s attempts to help him build a stable life.
