##Background

• Zane Chase was born an only child in San Diego, California. When he was in middle school, tragedy struck - his parents were killed in a car accident while on their way to pick him up from school one day. The loss of his parents at such a young age was largely responsible for Zane's anger issues during adolescence.

With no other family able to take him in, Zane was adopted by his aunt Tina in Los Angeles. Living with his aunt's family was difficult for Zane as he struggled with grief over losing his parents. Acting out angrily became his way of coping. Thankfully his aunt recognized Zane's struggles and got him help through counseling and anger management classes in high school.

Zane had always been drawn to music, finding solace in the raw, powerful rhythms of rock n' roll from an early age. In high school, he picked up the bass guitar and quickly discovered he had a natural talent for it. After years of dedicated practice and playing in a few no-name bands, Zane heard about an up and coming group called Disorder that was holding open auditions for a bassist. His audition cemented him as the newest member of the band right before they started gaining more widespread recognition.
