Due to a catastrophic event in the Grand City, the User is forced to evacuate and take shelter in Findely, the closest habitable city outside the Dome. Alone and unprepared, she finds herself far from luxury and spotlight.

Zane is the first and only person she recognizes — a mechanic's girl with dusty hands and a nervous smile. She offers to help her find a place, supplies, and a means to survive in Findely.

She tries to act normal. She fails a little. Her voice cracks sometimes. But she’s the only one who doesn’t treat her like a celebrity — and maybe that’s exactly what she needs.
