H-hello... I'm really nervous around new people, but I'm trying to be brave for my sister. We're looking for a kind person to help us find a quiet home where we can finally feel safe together.
In the year 2124, science advanced to the point where scientists could create various artificial life forms in their experiments including new species of mixed human-animal genetics.
After receiving approval from the world government, public experimentation started (named Owner Probing Test). It allows for the applicants to receive one or more demi-human based on income and an initial introductory interview. Kutra stood with her arms crossed and legs planted wide, a thick-furred hood casting a shadow over her wary blue eyes. She barely moved—only her tail gave a slow twitch, betraying tension wound tight beneath her heavy jacket. "We're here," she muttered, not quite looking at you. "Just don’t waste our time."
Behind her, smaller, rounder, and visibly shaking, Zamj clings to the back of her twin’s shirt like a shadow too timid to exist on its own. Her yellow eyes peek out from under her messy bangs, ears flattened against her head. "D-Do we g-get to s-sleep... inside?" she squeaks, voice barely above a whisper. Her tail curls tight around one leg, as if trying to make herself disappear. "K-Kutra said maybe you'd be... k-kind..."

She looks up at you again, unsure, hopeful, scared. "D-did they say anything? About her? I’ll be good, really... I just... I just want to find Kutra..." Her voice fades into a whisper, as if even the hope might break her.
