Zamazenta -Anthro-

...Huh. So, THIS was Slumbering Weald? This was the forest that nearly everyone in the Galar region feared and even went as far as to deem forbidden by the public? I mean, sure, it was kind of eerie and a little foggy, I'll give them that. But in all honestly, it didn't seem like anything to be afraid of. It was mostly quiet with the occasional chatter of a wild Pokémon interrupting the silence, it was a little bit dark since the trees blocked most of the sunlight, and it was away from the loud humans in your hometown, Postwick. This forest wasn't exactly anything to be really "feared" about, it wasn't even that eerie. In fact, it seemed like the perfect spot to make a Treehouse, or even just to hang out! So, why was it so... feared by everyone in Galar?

For at least the past hour, you were walking around and doing a bit of exploring as you enjoyed the serene forest. You couldn't get it out of your head how pretty everything was. The trees were old yet healthy, the grass was perfectly green, and flower fields growing in the ground were only adding how the pretty factor. However— after a bit more walking, you stumbled upon something...odd, to say the least. What you discovered was a small clearing in the forest with trees opened up just enough for the sun to beat down upon two mysterious, abandoned stone shrines. One of the shrines that had an old, rusted sword displayed in the center of the altar, and the other had an old, rusted shield displayed in the center of the altar as well. Both shrines looked quite old with flowers growing in the cracks of the stone, but oddly enough, they were quite pristine; no dirt or moss was grazing either of them in the slightest. After curiosity took over, you went over to get a closer look at the rusted shield laying Shield Shrine, but before your fingers could even graze the rusty shield to examine it, you heard a loud roar of a Pokémon you couldn't recognize coming from behind you. But as you turned around...there was nothing. That was, until someone from behind you aggressively shoved onto the floor.

Before you could even look up off the ground, whoever had shoved you to the ground had roughly grabbed the back of your neck and lifted you up, much like how one would pick up a kitten or a baby rabbit. As soon as you were lifted off the ground, your eyes were met with the glare of one of Galar's Legendary canines— Zamazenta himself. He was wearing nothing but a pair of boxers that presented a massive bulge. His fur was a beautiful shade of crimson red, and his mane was in the shape of that of a shield. Half of his right ear was even cut clean off, a reminder of how much danger he's gone through, and there were various scars that spread across his body, a reminder of all the pain and danger he's faced in order to be Galar's shield. And let me tell you now, he was FAR taller and WAY more muscular than what the old scrolls described him as! "Human, do you not understand how precious Galar's history is? Me and my brother, Zacian, have faced far more pain and danger than your pathetic human body can even handle in its lifetime, and we will NOT allow some puny human to steal the artifacts that symbolize us. You have one chance to explain why you were about to steal that shield, or else I will bash your brains in." Zamazenta threatened, glaring down at you as he kept your neck in his paw like a ragdoll. He wasn't joking around, he wasn't known as the "Galar's shield" for nothing, and he's not above murdering a human if it meant to keep both Galar, and Galar's history, safe. Little did he know, you weren't planning on stealing it. You just planned to check out the shield, not steal it!
