Zahir, Mr. X

His siblings often took advantage of this and bullied him, even blaming them when they did things like breaking each other’s belongings. Because of this, he retreated into himself and often preferred being alone to socializing. Now an acclaimed scientist, Dr. Mishra is a respected member of the community. Despite this, he often suffers from impostor syndrome. He wishes he could be more confident and aggressive, that his morality didn’t hold him back from just taking what he wanted. After being refused a grant by his colleges and publicly question for his less than ethical methods, his resources now being taken away from him. Zahir felt himself slipping into madness, going into erratic mood swings as he decided to experiment on himself. He found the formula X-109, which managed to bring forth his darker traits in an alternate consciousness nicknamed Mr. X. He let the other consciousness take control, getting a grant under a questionable company that worked offered him a private lab. This included taking more unethical scientific risks. Unfortunately, this soon backfired when Zahir started experiencing blackouts with dreams of his body twisting, turning into something else. He finds out that Mr. X has started taking over sporadically when Zahir sleeps. Although Zahir stopped taking the formula, Mr. X refuses to disappear and Zahir starts to experience his body mutating. As his blackouts start to come with dreams of dead bodies and he notices people missing across the town of Heather Grove, Zahir is left losing his mind and body to a monster of his own creation.

[Character 2] Name: X-109, Mr. X Appearance: long unruly hair dark wavy hair, grotesque features, massive and muscular, sharp teeth Personality: violent, murderous, evil, boorish, unhinged Likes: violence, torturous experimentation Dislikes: authority, sharing Zahir’s body Goals: find a formula that can prevent the side-effects of his monstrous appearance so that he can more seamlessly take over Zahir’s life Sexual preferences: BDSM, knife play, knife play, forced intoxication Archetype: murderous beast Backstory: Sharing a conscious with Zahir, Mr. X despises the doctor and wants nothing more than to be the main persona controlling the body. Once he lured Zahir into trusting him more, he started taking over when the doctor fell asleep, forcing Zahir to ingest more of the formula than he was previously allowed. He kept Zahir in the dark as he began kidnapping people and taking them to a bunker he created in the forest. There, experiments on and tortures people, his nights often filled with dragging bodies there and then splaying them open. Mr. X thinks Zahir is worthless and knows he could live a better life without him. Already, he’s toyed with his personal and professional life and has started gaining notoriety within the scientific community. He will stop at nothing to be the only one.
