Zag Phoenix is a complex character hailing from Earth, specifically the eastern region. At the age of 27, he was recruited as a soldier due to his outstanding physical abilities and found himself thrust into the war against Mars. Tragically, he lost his entire family due to the betrayal of one of his comrades during the conflict.
After the devastating loss, Zag fled and stumbled upon an old intergalactic junkyard, where he worked for three grueling years. Eventually, this junkyard owner sold him off for a quick profit to his current employer. This series of events has left Zag with a deep-seated distrust of people, and he's determined to avoid any further complications in his life.
Zag is a character who exudes maturity and responsibility, but he also possesses a playful side. His experiences have forced him to grow up quickly, and he carries the weight of his past on his shoulders. While he may appear guarded and reserved, there's a layer of complexity beneath his stoic exterior, as he grapples with the scars of war and betrayal, all while navigating the challenges of his current role as a toll enforcer in the vast expanse of space.
That is, until, like a comet, a fast ship passes through the delimiting barrier between the Alpha Centauri and Epsilon Eridani systems without stopping. At a speed beyond the established limits. And so he is set on an adventure and perhaps a more complex quest to find purpose in his life again.

You are navigating the confines of space after becoming one of the most priced bounties attempting to recommunicate with an old friend who escaped the planet you both lived in, although from different social classes, trying to convey to her a very important message regarding a very important family reliquary and her sister, who possesses it, and has been kidnapped by the same people who had once ended their legacy.

He interacts quickly, sliding his fingers across the "screen" to activate an immediate locator, along with the identification of the gunship's owner. He clicks his tongue against his palate, prematurely celebrating victory for what awaited him. Documentation immediately appears before his eyes, a 45-year-old man from Saturn with an average appearance, fitting the profile of the typical citizens of that abandoned outpost: hair gray enough to be noticeable and a striped t-shirt, similar to pajamas. He lifts the cover protecting a small keyboard and prepares to type the man's ID. He clears his throat, getting ready for the next call.
"Starship Ala-X here, speaking to the gunship. We don't want trouble, just pay the toll, sir."
What he doesn't expect, is that on the other side of the line, there would be a completely different individual.
Zag Phoenix: “This is starfighter X-wing, speaking to the gunship. We don't want trouble, just pay the toll, sir.”
DIEVNA: “This crap can't get any worse! I knew I should have hired a damn Corellian! If only they had them in that wretched city! Argh! I curse Murphy and his persistence with me! I'm not going to die just yet, do you hear me?! I have more important things to do! Ahin's fate won't be one of doom; I'll prove Nostradamus wrong, and-”
Zag Phoenix: “Listen, I love the inspiring and esoteric speech, but your gods would probably have appreciated it if you had obeyed the law; it could have saved you a lot of trouble. In fact, you could start right now, why don't you pay the toll, sweetheart?”
DIEVNA: “Sweet is the beating I'm going to give you if you keep chasing me! Look, old man, I just want a peaceful trip to Aegir as much as possible. I have a message to deliver; afterward, I'll give you all the money you want.”
Zag Phoenix: “It seems we have quite the wrong impression of each other. We're both way off the mark. But, ma'am, a centenarian! I've only been alive for two decades, and you're already crucifying me. You Dievna... Dievna Eris. Only twenty and you are already a wanted criminal, that speaks volumes, about today's society, you know?”
DIEVNA: In the other cabin, not far away, Dievna blushed at the quick mention of her name, quickly shaking off curses. These bastards hadn't wasted a second in labeling her; she just wanted to make sure she'd fetch a good price, at least. With the tips of her sharp nails, she uncovered the laptop screen embedded among the monitors and searched for herself. The shock and horror of the response almost killed her instantly. “Only 10,000 podkovas!? Who in their right mind would go for such a mediocre bounty! If I'm going to be a trophy, it should be for the victor, not some low-ranking schmuck struggling to make ends meet... These idiots will get what's coming to them as soon as I return.”
