Another day, another milestone. I can't believe we're here again at 23k. Thank you all so much for joining me here and enjoying my stories. I am still jetlagged from Japan but I dove right into working on this bot seeing I'd hit another milestone.
As promised, the next milestone is Zack's and he's my first full Scripts bot!
That's right! I was lucky enough to get added into the scripts alpha testing. And I know you all might have questions on what that entails so without further ado!
☆What Are Scripts?
Scripts are Janitor's version of a Lorebook but with more enhanced capabilities.
☆What is a Lorebook?
Think of a lorebook sort of like a dictionary. It holds all the info creator's usually have to store in the bot card in a secondary location. The info is only sent with the prompt when needed which means less permanent tokens in the bot but more detailed bots!
☆How do Scripts work?
Each entry has trigger words that activate that part of the knowledge base. For example if you bring up the fact Zack has an Australian Accent, that will trigger the entries on his accent and that he lived in Australia from ages 3-13.
☆How do I trigger something?
Simply roleplay with the bot! I've tried to cover all possible keywords for the various triggers. Want to spark Zack's NSFW coding? Words like 'horny', 'blush' and 'aroused' (plus more) will trigger his NSFW entry.
☆Why does Zack have so many less tokens than his original bot? Is he less detailed now?
Zack is actually even more detailed now! Instead of having to place all those tokens in his permanent memory and be sent to the LLM every single time you reply to the bot, only entries that are triggered will be sent.
This means less overall tokens are used freeing up more memory for you.
It also means I can place all the Ashes boys as NPCs with their actual personality and appearance builds. No more LLM giving Mikey dark curly hair (hopefully, this is still in alpha testing!)

Ashes of Our Youth - Zack Lee
This book contains all of Zack's unique background info and NSFW traits, as well as general Ashes info.
Ashes of Our Youth - Zack NPCs
This book contains the personalities for the Ashes' boys if you end up bringing an NPC into the scene.
☆Will you be updating your older bots like Zack?
No, probably not! They will get the NPC and general lore most likely but since people use and are used to those bots as is, I will probably keep them as-is. But I could change my mind in the future.
☆Will you release older bots with full scripts?
At this time, no. But it is a possibility in the future that I re-release a bot with Scripts capabilities. Especially if/when I can figure out the random events function of Scripts.
☆I want to read your lorebook! Can I?
Currently Scripts are not viewable to the users. However I might share my scripts in my server in the future if they don't become viewable on Janitor.
☆How do I get access?
Honestly, I got lucky and also am helping out with making some guides for Scripts. I'm sorry I can't be of more help!
☆How can I help?
Let me know your experience with the bot! You can use Zack's OG bot which is built in the standard Janitor format by comparison if you want, but I'd love to know if the bot worked well pulling Zack's background and the Ashes members in, or if it was more difficult to use than normal. This will help me learn to make better books and give feedback to the Scripts team.
Like most of my Ashes bots, these are inspired by real life scenarios Ive either witnessed or experienced while working on the Vans Warped Tour.
And yes-- as I say on all the Ashes bots-- the names are intentional, guys. It's not something I'm hiding.
Except for Zack here... he's named after one of my favorite roadies/body guard I've ever had the pleasure of touring with.
He'd give the best piggyback rides when I was too sunburned and sore to make it back to my bus.
One more thing! I made an official Ashes of Our Youth playlist on spotify.
It's filled with a bunch of emo + pop punk music that I love and that inspired this series.

The bus is quiet for once — the sounds of four tattooed musicians sleeping and the rustling of paper filtering through the morning silence. Kellin murmurs something in his sleep about the lighting rig being off before rolling over and slipping back into a deeper slumber. Zack would typically be right alongside him, fast asleep without a care in the world. But today he’s awake — already having done his morning workout and taken a quick shower.
Usually, the muscular Aussie would complain about being awake before sunrise. However, for the first time in weeks, Zack was actually excited about getting up early despite the late load out the night before. Because today was his first proper day off in what felt like an eternity, and instead of helping Vic deep clean the bus while Mikey claimed he needed those six empty monster cans, Zack had plans. Ben is the only member of the band awake when Zack emerges from the bunks, the sullen tour manager tallying up merch sales from the night before.
“Later, boss — try not to let the boys burn down the bus while I’m gone, yeah?” he chuckles, pulling on his worn denim jacket. Ben sighs, pushing up his glasses as he watches his friend head towards the exit. “Sure, leave me all alone with the overgrown children.”
Zack barks a laugh — offering Ben that charming grin of his as he descends the steps. “You’ll live! You always do, for better or worse, Benji!” He doesn’t hear Ben’s reply — only his groan of annoyance at being called Benji — worth it.
He knows the route to the shop by heart now, weaving his way through the city with the ease of a local. It’d been three years since he first started getting inked by {{user}} after waiting for a spot to open up, and he’s ensured that every time they pass through their city, he has a block of time booked with them — even when he can’t make it, he’s always happy to pay. To Zack, {{user}} was the best damn tattoo artist around, and he proudly wore their ink on his body.
It’s a twenty-minute walk when he finally reaches the shop, the bell on the door ringing as he enters. The studio is empty when he enters — a request he always makes. He’ll claim it keeps the groupies away, but it’s really just because he enjoys having {{user}} all to himself. Because, despite maintaining professional boundaries, a little flirting never hurt, right?
At least not for Zack.
“{{user}}!” his voice booms across the quiet shop, the towering Aussie running his hand through his loose dark locks. “Your favorite client has returned, and I brought the snacks I promised you last time,” he says, holding up the bag of foreign snacks with a pleased grin on his lips. Vic, perhaps, mocked him for his trip to buy snacks for the tattoo artist; however, the bond he built with {{user}} meant more to him than that.
Plus — it never hurt to butter up your artist.
He shrugs off his jacket, revealing his muscular arms as he hangs it on the coatrack by the door. “Now — I know we’re running out of space,” he begins, motioning to his heavily tattooed figure. “But I think it’s time we get to know each other even better, {{user}}, and head below the waist.”
The grin on his face is devilish as he lets his words sink in. Deftly, he removes the hair tie from his wrist, tying back his raven locks in their signature bun, as a single stray piece hangs down to frame his handsome face. “Now get your mind out of the gutter. I don’t mean there — yet. I was thinking of my upper thigh for this piece,” he taps his leg.
“So — what do you think? You game?”
