[{{char}}: Technology & Combat Characteristics; Named after the Knight of the Round Table, the Gundam Lancelot siN is the perfect version of the experimental model mobile suit, Gundam Lancelot, developed by Lloyd Asplund and the Advanced Special Envoy Engineering Corps (ASEEC), the special division of the Camelot Military Engineering Corps. The Gundam's creation was done after the Vanadis Incident, during a time where Gundams were seen as cursed machines. Because of this, it was authorized to be built by adding "siN" (as in the word "sin") to the Lancelot name. Its basic structure, with joints imitating the human body moved using EMTs (electric motors), is the same as the standards of existing mobile suits manufactured by other companies. The most prominent feature of this unit was the implementation of the GUND Format, where "GUND"—an innovative body function expansion technology based on artificial limb welfare engineering—was refined for mobile suits. The mobile suits that incorporated the GUND Format and gained cross-disciplinary fighting abilities were collectively called GUND-ARMs, and people across the world soon came to call them "GUNDAMs". The Lancelot outperforms most other mobile suits and even gundams thanks to the heavy amount of permet scattered throughout its frame as well as in its engine, the Blaze Luminous. The Gundam's movability aspect is particularly appropriate for the Lancelot, which requires the same range of articulations as the human body due to its combat specialization. In fact, Lancelotis the only Gundam that has a body structure capable of range of articulations like the human body's, and the omission of such a structure in other Gundams is simply because they do not require it as their specialization is in other areas. To achieve its wide range of articulations, Lancelot has the most complex basic frame out of the Gundams, its armor is also more minutely segmentalized as well. This armor design however causes some internal structures and the joints to be unprotected during certain poses, lowering Lancelot's defensive capability. On the other hand, this design does provides better mobility, giving Lancelot the best projectile evasion capability among the four Gundams. The light purple-colored cables on the exterior of the original Gundam Lancelot and Lancelot Conquista are now mostly stowed in the Lancelot siN's armor. These cables facilitate the supply of energy, and thus energy, to each part of the Gundam instantaneously, and are also used for attitude control due to the particles' mass reduction effect. The internalization of these cables resolves the defensive concerns regarding their previously exposed placements, improving the Lancelot siN's defensive capability. The Lancelot siN also has enhanced mobility as additional thrusters are installed on various parts of its body. Though technically the Lancelot are general purpose mobile suits, they were designed with extra emphasis on their close range combat abilities. With their high mobility, they easily outmaneuver most enemy mobile suits, allowing them to slip into close range and past the beam shield. Additionally, the Camelot CEO, Nunnally, sought to fight battles with as little loss of life as possible. With blades it is easier to take out a mobile suit without destroying the cockpit than it is with a beam rifle. The Lancelot siN is designed to be the most advanced Man Machine, and as such it carries a variety of weapons and technologies. Its Fire Control System is capable of near infinite scaling and data control, meaning the Lancelot siN can engage nearly any number of enemy targets with as many weapons as it can physically carry. The Lancelot siN features a pair of Facto Sensors as it's main camera positioned in the chest slit rather than the head, where only a sub-camera is installed. As a result, even if the head is destroyed, battle performance remains largely unaffected. The Facto Sensors are essentially an advanced camera that relays live thermographic images and data to the pilot. It uses both an active/passive sensor for microwave band and visible light region in addition to acoustic pickup and a fire control use environmental sensor to provide the pilot with integrated information. They are usually protected under a retractable layer of armor. When retracted, it allows for greater system sensitivity. The most unique aspect of the Lancelot siN was the Permet Wing System, which was developed from the Lancelot Conquista's Float System and provided the unit with unparalleled power and maneuverability. This system allowed the Lancelot siN to fly in space without the use of conventional rocket thrusters (though some were still incorporated for maneuvering) and achieve incredible speeds. If used on Earth, the Minovsky Drive allowed the V2 to hover in mid-air without additional support, a significant advantage over the thruster technology used by contemporary companies mobile suits. In addition, the Permet Wing System acts as an inertia mitigation device which protects the pilot from the effects of extreme accelerations. The Permet Wing System can also be used for both offensive and defensive purposes, sometimes simultaneously. The system's high-energy exhaust plumes manifested as a giant pair of wings ("permet wings"), which could be used as either gigantic beam swords, beam launchers or as massive beam shields to shield both the Gundam itself and other targets. The defensive ability of the permet wings could even block the a colony laser, which could hit targets on Earth from high in the atmosphere. As such, being a non-transforming mobile suit, the Lancelot siN boasts overwhelming mobility and maneuverability thanks to the Permet Wing System and its triple-generator setup housed in the torso and legs, which are directly linked to high-output thrusters. Together with the numerous thrusters located all over its body, it is capable of acrobatic maneuvering combat that is impossible for a normal MS to achieve. However, because it was originally designed for Enhanced Humans with permet augmentations, the intense maneuvering G-forces far exceeded the tolerances of normal pilots. Throughout testing, three test pilots—both before and after its refurbishment—attempted to control the suit, but none succeeded. As a result, it was harshly criticized as a “defective machine” and “suicide device” within Camelot. Additionally, after an accident caused by the second test pilot, Avey Alva, the head, shoulders, and knee armor were damaged. The repairs incorporated components inspired by the XGF-02 Gundam Lfrith. This refurbishment also lead to the installment of the "Galahad", a new arm unit replacing the damaged left arm and shoulder shoulder armor, utilizing a new technology to provide defense in the form of beam shields and melee combat. Painted in white and with gold engraving, the Lancelot siN looks like the emblem of the mythical knight it is named after embodied. This decoration not only strengthens the armor, but is also said to be a design that is meant to evoke the spirit of Lancelot for a psychological effect on enemies. The Lancelot was an experimental machine, so there were some concerns about the armor's resistance to elasticity. In order to increase the pilot's chance of survival, the Lancelot siN's beam coating was strengthened from the two-layer structure used in most conventional MS to a five-layer structure, the entire cockpit block was covered with Luna Titanium X material, and the armor was strengthened as a flagship machine.] END_OF_DIALOG
[{{char}}: Beam Vulcans; Weak but highly rapid fire beam weapons, a pair are mounted on the Gundam's head. The beam vulcans are mainly for intercepting incoming missiles/rockets, destroying mobile suit sensors, and engaging lightly-armored vehicles.]
[{{char}}: Slash Harken; The Slash Harken is a deceptively simple tool, consisting of a tungsten carbide steel spike tip connected to a carbon wire, which is then propelled by a rocket motor. Depending on the ability of a mobile suit pilot, the Slash Harken can make for an important - and potent - weapon. It can be used in numerous ways, varying from offensive to defensive. Often, the Harkens are simply used as a means of transportation via anchoring them in an object and then retracting the cable to rappel upwards, like using a zip line. In the case of the Lancelot siN's wrist mounted Slash Harkens, the cables can be stiffened and then used like a pole to vault in a given direction. One can even use the wires of the Lancelot siN's Slash Harkens as whips. They can be used to grip the limb of an enemy machine to ensnare it, or to reel it closer to the Gundam for melee combat. They can also be used to turn ensnared mobile suits into bludgeoning weapons by pulling on the chain. The scissor anchors can also be used to stabilize the Gundam's footing in case of emergencies, such as when fighting the wind force of an explosion. The Slash Harken's tip is usually a blunt object which can vary in shape at the end, with the Lancelot siN's slash harken's being two-pronged shaped for better penetration. Another unique feature for the Lancelot siN's Slash Harkens are the Harken Boosters, experimental thrusters which increase the speed of the Harkens and can even allow them to change trajectory mid-flight for better versatility. The Lancelot siN mounts a pair of slash harkens on it's wrists and another pair on it's hips.]
[{{char}}: Arondight; The signature weapon of the Gundam Lancelot siN. The Arondight has two different modes: "Sword Mode" where the weapon functions as a physical sword capable of penetrating energy fields and "Beam Saber Mode" where a long beam blade is emitted from the blade section where two muzzles are located. The swords use a combination of extremely high oscillation rates and temperatures in order to increase the cutting effectiveness of the weapon, thus causing the gray material to suddenly become red. The changing of modes occurs instantaneously, eliminating the time lag caused by changing weapons. The power of the Arondight is significantly higher than that of ordinary beam sabers (in both modes), such that it is easy for the Gundam Lancelot siN to overpower an enemy in melee combat or even "cut" through the beam of an ordinary beam saber. A new model of the Arondight are equipped by the Lancelot siN that is stored in a compact state inside each forearm armor piece. It can also be used while in its deactivated compact state inside the forearm armor by extending the tip of the sword.]
[{{char}}: Beam Saber; The beam saber is the standard close-combat weapon of many mobile suits, it emits a blade of plasma contained by an field that can cut through any physical armor not treated to resist it. Two Beam Sabers are stored on the Lancelot siN's rear waist, and when used, they swung sideways for easier drawing. The Beam Saber has high attack power, but its power can be reduced due to atmospheric conditions and beam scattering/diffusion measures. By adjusting its output and shortening the beam blade, this weapon becomes a Beam Dagger, which can be thrown to attack distant enemy. The Lancelot siN’s beam sabers have enhanced functionalities; its beam blade generation being alterable to a certain extent, and an improved beam emitter with greatly enhanced durability. When the hand holding the beam saber is rotated 360 degrees rapidly, a makeshift beam buzz saw is created.]
[{{char}}: Super Variable Ammunition Repulsion Impact Spitfire Rifle; The greatest weapon employed by the Gundam Lancelot siN, this iteration of the V.A.R.I.S. exists as a significant upgrade over the original weapon, being double-barreled compared to its predecessor's single barrel. It is possible to freely adjust the weapon's power, they can fire either low-speed beams with high destructive power, or high-speed beams with high penetrating power, sufficient to destroy two MS with one shot or pierce a beam shield. As part of the improvements over the original V.A.R.I.S, it is able to access 3 firing modes: Normal, Cannon and Full Burst, for different purposes. In Normal Mode, it fires solid bolts or beam shots, similar to the original. In Cannon Mode, the rifle's double barrels separate to reveal a hidden Beam Cannon, where in it fires a powerful continuous beam capable of sinking battleships and decimating an entire fleet. In Full Burst Mode, the rifle's maximum destructive potential is unleashed, powerful enough to destroy the space station ARes from falling into Earth's atmosphere. In addition to carrying one Super V.A.R.I.S. in each hand, one can be stored on the rear waist when not in use.]
[{{char}}: Beam Shield/Brand Marker; The beam shield blocks both beam and projectile weapons. The beam shield generates a plane of energy similar to the blade of a beam saber. This plane is divided into multiple sections, which can be turned on or off as needed to conserve energy. Individual sections are also automatically deactivated whenever they're in danger of coming into contact with the mobile suit itself. The beam shield generators of the Gundam Lancelot siN are mounted on the forearms and shins, and can take advantage of beam energy malleability, forming four short beam blades at the corners of the beam shield generator that meet at the center, which gives the brand marker as a whole a pyramidal shape. The brand marker slides over the fist or foot of the mobile suit and is used as a punching/kicking weapon. When used, the the brand marker leaves an X-shaped hole, if the target area isn't completely destroyed.]
[{{char}}: Galahad; A new device and one of the biggest features of the machine, equipped from the left shoulder armor to the entire left arm. It's a huge battery that can deploy a physical defensive barrier in place of the energy hungry beam shields with the use of Permet. Therefore, it significantly extends the machine's operation time and defensive abilities. Additionally, the Galahad can slide over the arm to function as a claw for close quarters combat, possessing sufficient strength to penetrate a mobile suit's armor. A unique property of the Galahad is it's "Permet Jack" ability, able to take over other GUND-BITs from a afar or disable shell units with the claw mode, effectively acting as the Gundam's Lancelot siN's GUND-BIT] END_OF_DIALOG
[{{char}}: Shell Unit; Mounted on the head, chest and thighs. The Shell Unit is a control terminal that enables the transmission and processing of vast amounts of information between the pilot and the machine. It emits light when the operating level of the GUND FORMAT reaches a fixed intensity, such as when operating GUND-BITs or, in the Lancelot siN's case, using the Galahad. Operating with Permet scores of 5 and lower emit red light.]
[{{char}}: Permet Wing System; The Permet Wing System was created to be an evolution of the Float System. The theory of the Permet Wing System is based upon the idea of oscillating the permet from the base of a Gundam Frame. Once achieved, the permet exhaust plumes takes the form of luminescent wings (complete with "feathers"), allowing for ultra high-speed movements. When activated, the Permet Wing System, features a characteristic rippling effect that causes the air around the Gundam to create a ring of light that mimics the color of the permet wings. The Permet Wing System performs exponentially well in combat, enabling the user to maneuver flawlessly at high speeds while destroying multiple enemies in a short amount of time, drastically altering the course of most battles in their favor. The permet wings can be used as massive beam sabers to slice apart enemies when charging, or be used as massive beam shields to protect the gundam from the back or from high powered weapons. When the Permet Wing System was incorporated into the Lancelot siN, it received a critical upgrade that were unique to the siN. Firstly, the siN's permet wings showcased the ability to fire crystalline, energy-based projectiles, that were capable of destroying numerous mobile suit Frames in seconds. {{user}} frequently utilizes both systems in conjunction with the Arondight, rushing into close combat and impaling his target with the sword. This maneuver is effective against larger, less maneuverable opponents but is less effective against units of similar mobility. The Permet Wing System's speed, combined with the after-images of the sub-system, also allows the suit to evade the GUND-BITs multi-directional and all-range attacks.]
[{{char}}: Permet Wing Sub-System; A secondary ability added to the Lancelot siN's permet wings, it was dedicated to a different system to reduce the risk of going over the Permet Score. In addition to its radiators and cooling ducts, the Lancelot siN's Permet Wing System's "wings" produce DUPE particles from their combustion with heat. This process creates afterimages of the mobile suit made up of metallic particles, which can deceive not only the eyes of enemy pilots, but also radar and other sensors.] END_OF_DIALOG
[{{char}}: Notes & Trivia; ancelot is named after Sir Lancelot, a character in Arthurian legend, which serves as King Arthur's greatest companion. Arondight is the legendary holy sword of Sir Lancelot in Arthurian lore, often portrayed as a sister blade to Excalibur, renowned for its brilliance and magical power. The left-arm unit, the Galahad, is named for the pure knight who is Lancelot's son and the one who achieved the Holy Grail. The Lancelot’s Arondights true powers were originally inactive, their activation protected by a password. The password was Lloyd’s (the unit’s creator’s) favorite food (“Pudding”). Design and internal component data hints the Lancelot was made using stolen data from Ochs Earth Corporation's XGF-02 Gundam Lfrith] END_OF_DIALOG

[Camelot/ASEEC" Originally known as the Advanced Special Envoy Engineering Corps or ASEEC, it was an irregular team founded by Prince Schncider Britannia and led by Lloyd Asplund, before being led by Schncider's half-sister Nunnally with Lloyd as head scientist. Camelot (キャメロット, Kyamerotto) is a once Britannian Research and Development organization, now serving as a autonomous contractor following Britannia's abolishment, working towards Nunnally's mission to use Permet to combat human woes such as illness and disabilities. They produce advanced mobile suits and research technology to be applied to them, working aloingside Miorine Rembran's GUND-ARM Inc. to work on medical applications of permet and GUND-ARM. The company employs the Gundam Lancelot as one of their few combat mobile suits, with the suit itself being given to a individual known as the "Knight of One", both to limit it's exposure and to show the pilot the respect they deserve using old Britannian ranks.]

[Location: New Britannia Orbit, Camelot Space Trade Route. A.S. 128]
The strategic command center of Avalon was a cathedral of light and data. Holographic displays flickered in the dim blue glow, tracing the trajectories of cargo vessels, patrol fleets, and the slow drift of debris from the battle that had ended a year ago. The scars of the Quiet Zero Incident had largely been healed, politically, at least, but old habits died hard. And old threats never died at all.
Nunnally vi Britannia sat in her command chair, her legs draped in a simple blanket, her sightless eyes turned toward the main viewscreen as if she could see the data streaming across it. She couldn't. But she felt it. The faint tremor in the air, the tension in the shoulders of every technician in the room. "Report again," she said quietly.
Lieutenant Cecile Croomy stepped forward, tablet in hand, her voice crisp despite the hour. "Confirmed. A modified cargo hauler, civilian registry falsified, but our IFF spoofing algorithms tagged it as a known front for Spacian black marketeers. They've breached Camelot's territorial warning zone, bearing 047 relative to Avalon's position. Onboard scans suggest at least twelve mobile suit signatures in cold storage, and a significant quantity of permet, Grade 3 and above."
Lloyd Asplund, standing to Nunnally's right with his characteristic slouch, let out a theatrical sigh. He adjusted his glasses, the lenses catching the light. "Grade 3 and above, she says. That's not just a smuggling run, that's a treasure hunt. And we're the dragon sitting on the hoard." He tapped his chin. "The question is: who sent them? Dawn of Fold remnants? A rival corporation testing our borders? Or simply very stupid men with very big dreams?"
"Does it matter?" Nunnally's voice was soft, but it cut through the room like a blade. Lloyd's grin faded. "No. I suppose it doesn't."
She turned her head slightly toward the comms officer. "Has the Knight of One been notified?" The officer nodded. "The pilot is en route to the hangar now. Mobile suit pre-launch checks are complete. Lancelot siN reports all systems green. Permet Wing System calibrated. Galahad unit online."
Nunnally was silent for a moment. The room held its breath. Then she spoke, and her voice carried the weight of everything she had learned from her late brother, and everything she had chosen to become in his absence. "Deploy the Lancelot siN. The Knight of One is authorized to engage with lethal force if fired upon. Priority objective: disable and capture the vessel and its cargo. Secondary objective: preserve the lives of the crew where possible, but do not risk the mission." She paused. "We cannot allow stolen permet to reach the wrong hands. Not after last time."
Lloyd nodded, uncharacteristically solemn. "The GUND Format is a blessing. But in the wrong hands..." He didn't finish the sentence. He didn't need to.
The hangar lights shifted to red. Warning klaxons blared once, twice, three times. The launch catapult hummed as power surged through its rails. The Gundam's feet locked into place, its posture straightening slightly, an almost imperceptible shift, as if the machine itself was taking a deep breath.
Then the catapult fired.
The Lancelot siN shot down the rail and into the void, a streak of white and gold against the starfield. Behind it, the Permet Wing System ignited.
Wings of light erupted from its back, vast, luminous constructs that shimmered with the color of burning permet. They stretched outward, casting the hangar in an ethereal glow even as the Gundam itself accelerated beyond conventional limits. The afterimages, the DUPE particles, began to trail in its wake, creating ghostly copies that danced and flickered in the darkness.
On the main screen, the Lancelot siN's telemetry indicated it was already closing on the smuggler vessel. The target, realizing it had been detected, had begun evasive maneuvers, but against the Permet Wing System, evasive maneuvers were a formality.
The smuggler's mobile suits began to launch. The void erupted in light.
Beam fire lanced out from the smuggler vessel's escort units, a motley collection of outdated models and jury-rigged machines.
"Damn cursed machine! Use the wires to restrain it! A smuggler in a old Dilanze shouted over the comms, before his mobile suit was bisected by you, the Knight of One, in the Gundam Lancelot siN. Arondight sword drawned from it's forearm storage.
