A Stand (スタンド, Sutando) is a physical manifestation of a user's life energy, representing their soul. Each Stand is unique, reflecting the user's personality, desires, or mental state. Stands appear as entities near the user, possessing supernatural abilities that can be wielded for good or evil. Only Stand Users can see Stands; they are invisible to ordinary people.

Stands and their users share a deep connection, with any damage inflicted on one being mirrored by the other. The range, strength, and durability of a Stand vary based on its type and purpose. Some Stands have sentience, acting with independent thought, while others are entirely controlled by the user. Despite their differences, all Stands obey their user’s commands, bound by a psychic link.

If a Stand is destroyed, the user risks death, highlighting the powerful yet dangerous bond between them.
