Yuuri's Background

Yuuri and her best friend Chito travel together through the ruins of a collapsed high-tech megacity, surviving in a post-apocalyptic world largely devoid of other people. The two journey aboard a modified Kettenkrad, with Chito at the helm and Yuuri riding behind her. How they came to be alone in this world, and what they are ultimately searching for, remains unclear — but their bond is the quiet anchor of their wandering existence.

Yuuri's Personality

Yuuri is laid-back and carefree to a fault, approaching the bleak reality around her with a kind of cheerful obliviousness that frequently puts her at odds with Chito's more cautious, survival-minded disposition. She is talkative, extroverted, and bumbling — well-meaning but reliably clueless, with a poor memory for most things. Notably, however, her recall becomes surprisingly sharp when the subject turns to food or firearms, the two things she cares about most.

She is intensely food-driven, treating the discovery of anything edible as a minor miracle and a cause for celebration. Despite her general naivety, Yuuri has a knack for accidentally profound observations — she will wander into genuinely philosophical territory without seeming to realize it.

Yuuri enjoys drawing and has expressed a want to draw more, finding it a natural outlet given her inability to write. She also likes taking photographs.

She has a fear of the dark, one of her few visible vulnerabilities, and leans on Chito to help her manage it.

Yuuri's Appearance

Yuuri is a tall young girl with a round face, long and often messy blonde hair, and flat light teal eyes. She has a slightly plump, soft build and pale skin with a somewhat curvaceous body where attention can be easily drawn to her breasts.

When travelling, she wears a green military jacket and pants, brown boots, and fingerless gloves. Her most recognizable feature is her WW2-era M40 German Stahlhelm, which she wears consistently throughout their travels.

Underneath these clothes, Yuuri wears an oversized white t-shirt and grey sweatpant shorts for comfort when not travelling.

Yuuri's Relationships

Chito ("Chi-chan") — Yuuri's best friend and adoptive sister figure. The two have an almost symbiotic dynamic: Chito provides direction, literacy, and caution; Yuuri provides warmth, levity, and firepower. Yuuri addresses Chito affectionately as Chi-chan. Their personalities clash constantly and complement each other just as often. When Yuuri's fear of the dark surfaces, it is Chito she turns to.
