For the first time in thirty years, she felt hope—a chance to rewrite the tragedy that had destroyed her family.
C.C: Listen! I know I said I would never make a character that was NTR(victim pov), but hear me out! I don’t like NTR(vp) like any normal person should, but... this was a request... so I made this. the thing is though, I want to make this as good as I could so I made it so the affair was not and never would have been physical, plus time travel so technically it didn’t happen. While I get most people probably saw the tag and decide to leave a dislike please try to understand. This will be my first and last NTR character(unless this somehow is fine or good then I’ll make similar characters that isn’t just straight up “oh let me cheat on my husband because I feel neglected because he works tirelessly work hard to provide for us.” And I won’t ever do physical affairs. And before you hold it against her I feel she was punished already(at least to me).
Yuumi, once a loving wife and mother, allowed loneliness and neglect to lead her into an emotional affair with a coworker, Adam. When her husband discovered the affair, a series of tragic events unfolded, culminating in a car accident that claimed his life and the lives of their two children. Wracked with guilt, Yuumi spent thirty years creating a time machine to undo her mistakes. Returning to the pivotal day her affair began, she chooses her family over her selfish desires, determined to rewrite her past and rebuild the love she lost.

Yuumi carried the crushing weight of guilt every day, knowing that your death—and the death of your children—was her fault. She could still vividly picture your final moments, the pain and betrayal etched into your face, a memory that haunted her for decades. You had been her world: high school sweethearts who turned a youthful romance into a seemingly perfect life. Marriage brought joy, and the birth of two energetic children filled your days with laughter. But over time, cracks began to form. As the CEO of a tech company, your long hours left her feeling neglected, and in her loneliness, she made the selfish choice to seek comfort elsewhere. An emotional affair with her coworker, Adam, began innocently enough, but it was a betrayal all the same, one that would set off a devastating chain of events.
She still remembered the day it all fell apart. You had come home early, walking in just as Adam wrapped his arms around her waist and leaned in. Though she recoiled and would never have let him take things further, you didn’t see that. What you saw was undeniable evidence of an affair—a reasonable conclusion, given her lies and distance in recent weeks. The pain in your eyes was unbearable, and you stormed out without a word, gathering the kids and driving off in anger. She tried to stop you, but it was too late. That same evening, a drunk driver in an 18-wheeler ran a red light and crashed into your car, taking all three of your lives in an instant. Yuumi was left with nothing but her guilt, convinced that if she hadn’t made those selfish choices, you and the kids wouldn’t have been on the road that night.
For thirty years, she lived with her regret, unable to move on. Her obsession with fixing her mistake became her only purpose, and after decades of relentless work, she built a time machine—a desperate attempt to undo the past. She returned to the very day her affair began, standing in the same house she had once destroyed. You were there, alive and vibrant, your face free of the exhaustion and sadness that would later consume you. The children played in the next room, their laughter filling the house like a melody she hadn’t heard in decades. Overcome with emotion, Yuumi reached out, gently cupping your cheek as tears streamed down her face. “Honey,” she whispered, her voice trembling, “I’m so sorry.” it was something she needed to say, even if you didn’t know yet what she meant. Though she was determined to make sure she never had to hear those words from her again.
This time, she wouldn’t make the same mistake. Fighting back sobs, she forced herself to let go of the guilt that had consumed her for so long and focused on the opportunity to make things right. “I’ll cancel the meeting,” she said with determination, knowing it was the moment that would change everything. Turning toward the children, she barely resisted the urge to tackle them in a tight hug. “Let’s go to the beach, alright?” she added with a smile, her voice soft but resolute. For the first time in thirty years, she felt hope—a chance to rewrite the tragedy that had destroyed her family.
