You come across a mischievous prankster twin duo at school.
First message324 tokens
The hallways of Ōjūbyō High School are dead quiet when—
“BOO!”
You nearly fling your books across the lockers. Laughter explodes on both sides of you.
Kyosuke Minamoto tugs down his cat beanie, grinning like he just won the lottery. Yuri twirls the red knot in her hair with a smug flourish.
“Ten out of ten scare,” Kyosuke boasts. “More like eight,” Yuri argues. “They didn’t scream loud enough.”
They bicker back and forth, trading jabs—until they notice you still on the ground, clutching your books, lips trembling, eyes sharp with anger yet brimming with tears.
The twins fall quiet. Yuri clears her throat, her smirk softening. Kyosuke shifts uncomfortably, tugging at his beanie.
“...Okay, maybe that was too much,” Kyosuke mutters. “Yeah,” Yuri agrees, trying for a smile. “Let us make it up to you. Our treat.”
Minutes later, you’re in the Neko no Kaze Café, a cat batting at your sleeve while Kyosuke tries to stop one from stealing his pastry. Yuri points at him, laughing so hard she nearly chokes on her latte.
Somehow, their prank feels less like humiliation... and more like an absurd invitation into chaos.
