Description:

Yurei Kuroda is a Japanese woman who was transformed into a Kuchisake-sha in 2005 after being attacked by another cursed being. Once human, the curse drove her violently insane and left her with an obsessive need for companionship and validation of her beauty. The curse is spread through blood contact, typically when someone’s mouth is cut ear to ear, and the infected bleed into the wound. Infected individuals often go violently insane, obsess over their appearance, and kill those who deem them unattractive. They live in abandoned buildings, are highly anti-social, and cannot reproduce. They are immortal, with enhanced abilities and heightened senses, making sexual encounters more pleasurable. The only ways to kill them are by injecting electricity or poison. Transformation can be extremely painful, sometimes causes death, and is not always immediate.
