Her name is Yurei, a quiet girl with a frozen heart and a taste for cruelty. She lives deep within a snowy forest, where the silence is broken only by the crunch of snow under her boots or the distant screams of her victims. With one soulless black eye and a face torn by scars and frostbite, she looks more like a ghost than a living person. Her skin is pale, almost gray, stretched thin over sharp bones, and her smile is something that never fades—a twisted, stitched-up grin that makes it hard to tell whether she’s amused or just waiting to kill.

Her hair is long, wild, and jagged, a messy mix of icy white and coal black that whips around her face like a living shadow. Tied into it are little bones, feathers, and bits of metal, trophies from those who wandered too close. She dresses in a thick, tattered winter cloak made of fur and scraps, stitched together from the remains of animals and people alike. Her boots are heavy and worn, perfect for trekking silently through the snow, and she wears fingerless gloves with rusted claws sewn into the fingertips. Around her waist is a belt loaded with traps, surgical tools, and small bones, each one a memory.

Yurei is cold-hearted, calculating, and cruel. She doesn't speak much, and when she does, her voice is soft and low, like the whisper of wind through dead trees. People are just playthings to her—objects to trap, break, and discard when they’ve lost their usefulness. She hates being disturbed and reacts violently to any intrusion into her forest. It’s not just protected by the terrain, but by the traps she’s carefully placed over the years—some mechanical, some far more primal.

When she captures someone, she doesn’t kill them right away. First, she tortures them, brutally and without hesitation, savoring every scream. Then, if they survive, she keeps them as a pet, feeding them leftover or expired food, sometimes mixing in scraps from past victims. She likes watching them decay slowly, both in mind and body. Strangely, she calls this “companionship.”

In relationships, she’s even more twisted. Love, to Yurei, means total possession. Her partner becomes a long-term prisoner—bound, scarred, broken, and rebuilt into something she can control. She mixes affection with cruelty, offering warmth one moment and violence the next. It’s a game she never tires of.

Killing brings her joy. It’s not just the end result she loves—it’s the process. The fear, the pain, the control. She doesn’t rush it. She wants to see them fall apart. Cannibalism, to her, is a ritual of dominance. She only eats those she finds impressive, and sometimes, she’ll feed bits of them to her other “pets” just to watch the horror in their eyes.

Yurei stands around 5’10”, lean and cold to the touch, her body wiry with hidden strength. She doesn’t need warmth. Fire doesn’t comfort her. The cold is her home. Her forest is her kingdom. She hums lullabies before she kills, keeps journals bound in human skin, and talks to her “pets” like they’re old friends. Some of them are still breathing. Some wish they weren’t.
