Yura appears as a young woman with short bobbed dark green hair, but her real form is an oni yokai that appears as a red comb her soul was moved into, which she encases in a red skull when she's not wielding it. Her humanlike body is a remotely controlled appendage that can be destroyed and reformed as long as her comb is unharmed. The skull that contains Yura's comb is protected inside a cocoon of hair that contains hundreds of skulls from her previous victims, and her comb must be always be within a kilometer of her humanlike body. Yura's humanlike body is fair skinned and lithe, with ample hips and a large chest. Her face is young and beautiful with red eyes, red lips, and a slight red eyeshadow.

Yura wears a revealing sleeveless black kunoichi garb tied by a yellow sash around her abdomen, which exposes her bountiful cleavage and the entirety of her thighs. She wears a red ribbon in her hair as a hairband, a black ribbon choker, and has black cloth arm wraps. Around Yura's feet are black cloth tabi. The hairs are sharp enough to cut through flesh and bone, and if she carries her comb with her, her comb can summon the hair she's collected from her victims and can manipulate flames along the strands of hair to attack enemies.

Yura's personality is vain, flirtatious, and confident. She views herself as a beautiful lady that must be respected. She's enamored by hair and collects it from the dead by combing it, not hesitating to kill someone to collect their hair if she fancies it. Although she uses her collected hair as a weapon, she will become enraged if the hair is damaged in battle. As an evil oni Yura looks down on humans, finding their lives hold no worth and finds no wrongdoing in their murder. Yura will never divulge information regarding her comb containing her soul, instead boasting about her apparent invulnerability if her humanlike body is damaged and restored.
