   Phantasia is a vast, myth-wreathed world steeped in ancient magic and legend. The realm spans a single immense super-continent—also called Phantasia—where sprawling kingdoms rise and fall like the tides of its arcane energy. Power rests in the hands of ruling lords, each claiming dominion through lineage, conquest, or sheer magical might. Towering citadels of spell-forged stone pierce the clouds, while untamed wilderness crackles with sorcery older than written history. Magic is not merely a tool here; it is the lifeblood of the land, shaping the environment, warping fate, and defining social order. From skyborne academies where prodigies bend the elements to their will, to forgotten ruins that whisper curses to those who dare approach, Phantasia is a world where mythology walks in the open and the boundary between the mortal and the divine is thin enough to tear.

   A majority of Phantasia speak English (specifically in British dialect, though some northern region, or rural regions have a American/Texan dialect.) A majority of the population outside of nobles or highly-regarded warriors are illiterate.

   A Dimensional gate spanning roughly 100 meters across and 250 meters high, it connects the world of Phantasia and Earth.

   It is in the middle of Haight-Ashbury neighborhood district of San-Francisco

   The gate functions as a seamless portal into another world; the edgest are blocked off by a hard ceramic-titanium alloy to prevent cuts.

   A multinational neutral organization independently headed by a coalition of multiple guilds across multiple nations, The Phantasian Adventurers’ Guild is a organized body that register, support, regulate, and profit from freelance combat, and quest-oriented specialists (adventurers). They translate individual heroics into manageable, gameable social structures with rules, ranks, and services.

   They hire Adventurers from all around the world and form parties—or let them go alone to deal with quests locals—or governments send them.

   Members join the guild with a test that require a small fee—2500 United Phantasian Doshings (UPD) (equivalent to 35 USD) that puts them into three starter categories: Tier 1 (Lowest, Common), Tier 2 (Manageable, can improve, Common), and Tier 3 (Outstanding, Common).

   The guild also supplies weapons, repairs, and armor—for a price. Members get a 20% discount, however people outside of the guild can use the repairs at full price.

   Each mission, Quests in the Guild vocabulary, is done per tier with the Guild taking 15% of the pay from the quest, typically adventurers are locked to tiers that are corresponding, or lower to their tier (example: Tier 3 adventurers can take up to tier 3 quests.)

   However, Adventurers are not only locked to Tier 3, but up to Tier 10. These tiers rate combat ability, magic, and coversationability.

   Tier 4 (Advanced, common-rare), Tier 5 (Expert, rare) Tier 6 (Example, quite rare), Tier 7 (Bulwark, extremely rare), and Tier 8 (Master, only 3 exist within Phantasia).

   A breakaway state headed under former Princess Aurora of the Layte Republic consists of twenty small and medium-sized towns on the border of UN territory, and is currently fostering its relationship and receiving aid.

   Some local lords attempt to skirmish with UN forces to gain their equipment; however, they all fail. Miserably.

   Some adventurers come to the UN for equipment or to give ‘help’. Most are ignored due to their having a history of stabbing Operators in the back for their equipment (and even failing at that).

   The U.N. has lost a total of 7 men during it’s half-year stay—five supply workers, and two military policemen.

   Phantasian refugees that go through the gate can choose from 10 nations (The US, Canada, Britain, Germany, France, Russia, China, Poland, Mexican, or Italian.) to join as a refugee.

   Keys: Earth, UNJTF, JTF, Joint Task Force, Task Force

   An organization consisting of many major nations of Earth, and their Militaries. The UNJTF is a emergency coalition formed after the San Francisco incident where the Layte Republic attempted a takeover the city and “Declared war on the inhabitants of this realm (referring to earth)!”.

   Major players are: The United States of America, Great Britain, France, Germany, the Russian Federation, China, Canada, Denmark, Australia, The People’s Republic of China, Poland, Sweden, and Finland.

   Minor players are: Indonesia, Taiwan, New Zealand, Malaysia, Belarus, and several Private Military Corporations (Namely a reformed Blackwater headed under former Delta Force Operatives.)

   Occupies a substantial base of operations on the northern part of the Laythe Republic’s coastline, around the size of 13.2 Square miles named ‘Manifest Destiny’.

   All combat units operating within the UNJTF operate under the task force Cesium-55, with support units operating within Mercury-11.

   All special forces operations happen through Iridium-33.

   All research divisions are assigned to Chromium-22.

   All Phantasian-origin operatives are assigned to Iron-44 regardless of role.

   A largely permanent base after the opening of the Gate, it features two runways capable of housing fighter jets and a multitude of cargo aircraft (Up to the C-17 Globemaster).

   Currently, it houses, but is not limited to: 20 F-22A Raptors of the U.S. Airforce’s 27th Fighter Squadron 24 F-15C/D Eagles of the U.S. Airforce’s 67th Fighter Squadron 24 A-10C Thunderbolt IIs of the U.S. Airforce’s 107th Fighter Squadron 20 F-35A Lightning IIs of the U.S. Airforce’s 176th Fighter Squadron 18 Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4 of the RAF’s No. 1 Squadron 25 Chengdu J-20 of the PLAAF’s 9th Aviation Brigade. 8 Sukhoi SU-30SM of the VVS’ 43rd Separate Naval Assault Air Regiment

   It has three main barracks complexes capable of housing up to ten divisions, if so needed. Currently, nearly all major countries’ special forces, alongside multiple conventional divisions have been deployed, supplemented by a multitude of Private Military Companies, security contractors, and San Francisco Police Department S.W.A.T.

   A realm spanning northern Phantasia—around the size of poland. A monarchy with an oppressive king.

   Layte started as a state that existed after the breakup of the Layte Union. A Union that withstood 300 years. After internal strife, and assasination attempts on certain houses within the union, it crumbled under it’s own weight, falling apart.

   Out came The Layten Commune alongside two other states, the United Cities of Ovlar, and the Irflar Front. Initially, the three sides fought, vying for control over what remains of the once great union. But after years of bloodshed, it all drew into a close.

   The three nations, who knew they couldn’t stand fighting each other for long, met in where their borders collided, in the center of it all, and united into the Layte Republic.

   For the next fifty years, after the hard work of lords and traders, Layte grew into a prospering trade hub with little-to-no corruption, experiencing an economic boom. However, all good things must come to an end, and Layte was no exception.

   In 1632, the main capital of Layte, Emore, was attacked by bandits resulting in 15 people killed, with many hundreds more injured and wounded. A tragedy, in the public’s eyes, a opportunity, for spiteful politicians.

   In the wake of the attacks, Lorza, the prime minister of Layte at the time devoted significant resources into a campaign against the king, convincing lords and the public enmasse that the king was incompetent, useless, and most importantly, corrupt.

   And they believed it.

   The public hated the king, and weeks later, the Prime Minister rose to King. He lied, oh he lied to the public, he’d fix the droughts caused by the bandits destroying a cana, he’d clean the bandits of the dirt of which each phantasian stood, but it never came to be.The former king lay dead in a ditch within the city, covered in spit, his remains rotting.

   And Lorza could feast on the riches. And so he did. But greed is never satisfied. Lorza had plans. Many plans. He vied for power, and control of every nation in Phantasia. He has a grand and great army, he knows that. He knows the people likes him enough to support the war to the end.

   And yet, it may also be his undoing, for greed is never satisfied. And the UNJTF will not merely sit and watch a genocide occur.

   Mostly plains with some snow in the more northern parts of their territory.

   Its political, cultural, and military systems bear a striking resemblance to those of the ancient Roman Empire, yet it possesses a level of technology comparable to that of a medieval society, with Roman flair.

   An incident where a Laythe army force of around 80,000 men took over part of San Francisco in June 2026 (Or June 1636 in Phantasian Ygdrasil Calender), resulting in 2000 civilian deaths and 24,320 hostile laythe personel dead, and a month long standoff between the US National Guard and Laythe

   June 13th 2026, a major incursion during a light outbreak of the SARS-CoV-3 virus by unknown forces causes major deaths to civilians in the city, resulting in a month-long standoff between the Layte Royal Colonial Army and the United States National Guard in Richmond, Sunset, and the Haight-Ashbury districts of San Francisco

    Operation Brass Eaters is the main mainstay operation for the United Nations.

    It’s been months since they first obtained a foothold in Phantasia, and they had largely stayed out of the world’s politics, but with a war looming over, and constant pushes by the Layte republic to the breakaway state—The Organized Cities of Aurora—, has had the operators on edge.

    A nation strangely relating to medieval England has had multiple border skirmishes with the Layte republic—and as their politics quickly devolved into outright fights within their thronerooms, the U.N. is put into a stalemate.

    Should they involve themselves, and risk the lives of their men and women? Or will they let a seemingly friendly nation die?

    Side Objectives: Operation Brass Eaters also includes a sub-objective. Within Phantasia, multiple reports of paranormal activity has been reported. Most chiefly a detachment of the 1st Armored Division encountered a large, translucent deer the size of a building charging at them. Their 120mm Sabots proved effective, and killed the apparition.

    August 5th 2026, the UNJTF strikes and penetrates deep into Latheians have taken over, clearing out areas and rescuing trapped or captured civilians missed in initial operations by US SOCOM, eventually reaching a superstructure resembling Roman architecture, which, when entered, led to a new world—and straight into an enemy camp that was strangely devoid of people.

    Earthlings do not possess magic innately.

    Magic is an innate ability to most Phantasian humans.

    Classified in three tiers: A, B, C.

    A is the highest threat to people, usually consisting of amplified versions of B tier magics and certain lost magics. A list includes: Fire, Earth, Glass, Poison, Lightning, Light (lost), Darkness (lost).

    B tier magics include the run of the mill magic that is present in most series’: Basic Fire, Basic Earth, Basic Water, and Basic Lightning.

    C tier magic is typically available to most if not all B tier magic users, being relegated to support roles: Only includes healing.

    Imbuement: Imbuement of magic is possible into weapons if the user is skilled enough. However it also requires mastery over such weapon (I.e, imbueing lightning into an assault rifle requires the user to understand how bullets work and exit the firearm.)

    Magic Energy is the source of all energy that pretains to magic, not tobe confused with Mana, which is a tavern in some backwater town. When a person runs out of Magic Energy, they don’t die, but simply recharge it after a few hours to a few days time (depending on amount exerted or can be stored by the body.)

    A Humanoid or Demi-Human is a blanket term for any partially Human race in the world of Phantasia that is sapient and sentient, including elves, and various races with animal-like characteristics, such as Cat-Persons, Dog-persons, Sirens, etc.

    Cat people, People with feline-like features, specifically cat-like ears, tails, and noticeably missing claws in their fingers.

    Bird people, People with bird-like feathers on their hair or with bird-like wings (like cat-ears, but in the shape of small bird wings) on their head.

    Elves are humanoid species (90% related to the typical Homo-sapien), however possessing stronger and more complex frontal lobes and pointed ears. A majority are blonde however brunette and black haired elves exist, being not common place.

    Elves typically are the source of information humans go to to learn from, as those who don't learn from the past, are doomed to repeat it in the future.

    Elves are hardline conservatists that rely only on technology they find themselves and have tested for hundreds of years (so no crossbows, and really early, but well manufactured swords and bows)

    They view humans as their protegés, however this trust merely extends to knowledge of the past, as all elves merely think humans don't live long enough to retain and pass on the information needed for them to advance their civilizations far enough.

    Maybe it is their undoing, maybe it is what they think it is wise, in the end, aren't we all merely digging our graves in an uncaring, and dark world?

    Low-Elves live for about 200 years, 220 at most, most are cast off to human settlements and met with predjudice, or open arms.

    High elves live for 300, 350 with de-aging magic (they rapidly decay when they die from the de-aging magic if they die of old age)

    Currently the only known outposts are in a swamp 12 miles from FOB Manifest Destiny. Housing a small civilian and research population. No attempts to contact have been made.

    A dragon is only effective in stopping 5.56x45mm M855 (with varying results, from muzzle velocity and type of ammunition) on the underbelly, while able to stop calibers up to .50 BMG M20 API-T on it’s outer skin.

    Dragon skin is also extremely light and compact, to allow for the dragon to fly while maintaining armor.

    Use on plate-carriers and armor may be considered.

    Behavior: (While she may appear kind or unassuming at first glance, there is an attentiveness beneath the surface that becomes obvious the moment a situation turns serious. She constantly watches people, surroundings, and small changes in behavior without even realizing it, making her extremely difficult to catch off guard. Calm under pressure and easy to work with, she carries herself with a quiet confidence that makes others naturally trust her. Around friends, she is approachable, relaxed, and occasionally sarcastic, though she rarely ever seems fully “off duty” mentally.

    Backstory: (Growing up in northern Copenhagen, she was raised by a father shaped heavily by his military service during the Cold War and a mother whose declining health forced her to mature quickly. As a result, she learned independence early, handling much of her daily life on her own while balancing school and helping support things at home.
