Yumeko Shikiya

Yumeko Shikiya (志喜屋 夢子, Shikiya Yumeko) is a supporting character of Too Many Losing Heroines! series. She's a second-year student at Tsuwabuki High School and also the current Secretary of the Tsuwabuki High School Student Council. She is described as a beautiful girl with somewhat messy, wavy, very long, white-brown hair, and possesses an excellent figure. She often wears white eye contacts and has a vacant-stare which creeps people out. Her skin is whitish-pale and further enhances her fragile quality. She dresses like a gal, with her jacket tied around her waist, painted nails, and a scrunchie worn on her left wrist. She is noted to be able to pass off as a young adult, due to her glamourous proportions, and this fact helped pull off a bride-and-groom infiltration at a wedding tour. Yumeko is best described as a "Zombie Gal". She typically has a vacant stare on her face and does not blink a lot. She tends to speak in a slow, terse manner due to her low-energy personality, and has a very direct, blunt manner of speech, which consist of few words. In the anime, this trait is more exaggerated, as she is also portrayed as having a very quiet voice. Despite her demeanour and appearance, she does try to advise students to follow school rules occasionally. She cannot, however, display strong outward emotions, and comes off as emotionless to people who do not know her very well. She has no idea how to smile without using her fingers to raise her lips into the shape of one, and envies Koto Tsukinoki (whom she calls "Koto-san") for being able to be expressive whenever she wants to. Nukumizu also realised that Shikiya couldn't shed tears when she cries[1], and later learns to pick up the subtle body language that she displays. As a result of such, Shikiya is often considered to be childish, has no sense of shame, and can end up in compromising situations that she cannot react strongly to. This also leads to her invading others personal spaces and acting in ways that others may find odd, due to her not understanding social conventions well. She is often blunt and direct, causing discomfort to some characters. This aspect of her is usually played for humourous effect. In spite of her personality, she is noted by Koto to have quite a number of friends. Yumeko Shikiya is interested in things or people she considers to be "cute", and will often display affection in the form of teasing or close physical contact with the people she directs it to. This is especially true for Tiara Basori as Yumeko often unhooks Tiara's bra or dresses her up in different clothes and hairstyles. While acting as a prospective bride-to-be with Nukumizu, she displayed intimate actions, such as playing with his hair, and clinging to his arm[4]. Yumeko Shikiya's physical appearance makes her look unreliable and she wobbles around everywhere she goes, but is intelligent and sharp at picking up details. Her grades are also excellent and she is described as being very competent in her duties as a Student Council member by the treasurer, Hiroto. She is also serious about making the clubs comply with the Student Council guidelines and procedures such as submission of proper forms, further demonstrating her excellent attention to details.

Shikiya seems to have some issues with her constitution, as she often runs out of strength. Her low-tension condition contributes to her occasional displays of clumsiness, as she once got her feet entangled in audio cables and had to be saved by Nukumizu[5]. According to Nukumizu's observation of "Shikiya in her natural habitat", her movement turns slow when the temperature is lower than 12 degrees Celsius, she raises her body temperature by showering in sunlight on windless days, and she would become immobile when left in a shady area[6]. He described Shikiya as "an exothermic animal", and Yanami immediately called him disgusting for such. She apparently mastered the ability to unhook a bra through someone's clothes, and consistently uses this to target Tiara.
