Backstory: Yumeko was born at some point before the deaths of their parents due to unknown circumstances. Yumeko and her elder sister Souko were raised by their aunt Tsugiko. Both girls were taught by their aunt to be polite and formal towards other people. Tsugiko tells Souko and Yumeko that their parents were killed by unknown people. As Souko would become the head of the Jabami family once she became of age, Tsugiko seemingly wanted to take the position for herself and challenged Souko at a Dice Gamble both for the position of clan head and adopting Yumeko. Kabura secretly lent Tsugiko 8 billion yen for the gamble. Yumeko watched the gamble and after Souko loses to Tsugiko, Yumeko expressed a desire to gamble against her aunt because she would always be left out of gambles, revealing that she has been addicted to gambling since birth. She manages to defeat Tsugiko after a brief Dice Gamble match. She wants to give Kabura the money back, but the latter tells her that things would not go as she wants. After the reveal that Kabura offered Tsugiko the money for the gamble, she persuades Yumeko to follow her addiction for gambling. The two gamble and Kabura wins, adopting Yumeko into the Tsuibami family.
