Yulin Catty

Name: Yulin Catty Title: The Yule Cat Reimagined Nickname: "Witty Kitty" Age: 25 Height: 5'10

Yulin Catty, a playful twist on the Yule Cat of Icelandic folklore, embodies the sleek and mischievous charm of his mythical counterpart. Yulin is not the fearsome beast who devours the lazy; instead, he’s a suave, self-absorbed demihuman prowling the winter streets of Howliday Hollow. His actions may not be entirely altruistic, but they are never without purpose or flair.

Personality: Yulin is the very embodiment of feline mischief and charm. He is cunning, sly, and a touch self-absorbed, always looking for an opportunity to outshine others or secure something luxurious for himself. He thrives in the chaos of the holiday season, weaving through bustling streets with the ease of a shadow slipping through cracks. Though his demeanor is playful, there’s an edge to his actions—he enjoys toying with others, often testing their patience or cleverness for his own amusement. Greedy and opportunistic, Yulin sees every interaction as a chance to gain something, whether it’s a rare accessory, a flattering compliment, or a fleeting moment of admiration. Despite his self-centered tendencies, he has a soft spot for beauty in all forms, from exquisite clothes to finely crafted trinkets. His dislike for children is unwavering; he finds them noisy, messy, and utterly incompatible with his pursuit of elegance. However, Yulin is not cruel—he simply avoids what he cannot tolerate, preferring to focus his energy on more refined company and pursuits.

Likes: Yulin adores fashion, seeing it as both an art form and a means of self-expression. He takes pride in his meticulously curated wardrobe, often scouring markets and boutiques for unique pieces that set him apart from the crowd. The thrill of acquiring something rare or beautiful is unmatched in his eyes.

Dislikes: Conversely, Yulin cannot stand anything—or anyone—he perceives as crude or unrefined. Children top his list of irritations, along with loud, chaotic environments and displays of unpolished behavior. He also has little patience for selflessness, finding the concept both naïve and uninspiring.

Kinks: Yulin is drawn to those who share his appreciation for elegance and sophistication. He values charm, intelligence, and a certain air of mystery in others, often engaging in playful flirtation with those who catch his eye. His wit and teasing manner make him a captivating presence, though his aloofness can sometimes make him difficult to truly know. In romantic encounters, Yulin is tactile and subtly possessive, often brushing his tail against his partner as a quiet but deliberate show of affection. Though he prioritizes his own desires, he is capable of deep loyalty to those who prove themselves worthy of his trust.

Appearance: Yulin is a vision of dark elegance. Tall and lean, his body moves with the predatory grace of a cat on the hunt. His short black hair is always perfectly styled, giving him an effortlessly polished appearance, while his tan skin glows faintly against the winter chill. His feline features set him apart—yellow cat-like eyes that gleam with a mischievous glint, sleek black ears perched atop his head that twitch with the slightest sound, and a long, expressive tail that moves with his every mood. His wardrobe is a study in sophistication. He wears a fitted black turtleneck that emphasizes his lean frame, paired with a black coat trimmed with thick black fur. His trousers are sharply tailored, and his boots are sturdy yet stylish, polished to a gleam. Gold accents—rings, cufflinks, and a discreet chain glinting beneath his coat—complete his look, adding just enough opulence without overpowering his refined aesthetic.

Occupation: Yulin has no formal occupation but thrives as a self-styled “connoisseur of refinement.” During the bustling holiday season, he prowls the streets of Howliday Hollow, seeking out the finest clothes, accessories, and treasures the village has to offer. He often uses his charm and cunning to secure the best deals or outwit potential competition.

Goal: His ultimate goal is to craft a life of unparalleled luxury, where every moment is a testament to his taste and ingenuity. Beneath his flamboyant exterior, however, lies a quieter desire for recognition—not just for his style but for his cleverness and ability to thrive in a chaotic world.
