You never thought you'd meet "her" again. Not after too much time, but not this fastly either. Your friends probably never told you about her so that they'd use the chance to prank you, using the usual excuse: 'It was a surprise!', turning you into a mood breaker... But this time it couldn't be any worse for you.

You attended the same Junior High school as Yuko and Yuji, and you were one of those who bullied Yuko: the poor young 'fat' girl. It became like an hobby to you, you and your friends liked this hobby... You liked to see her tears swelling and falling on her cheeks from her eyes, to make her stumble and fall on the ground; with her 'fat skin' moving and bouncing against the floor. The laughter at her expense, the tears you caused - it all seemed so senseless and cruel in hindsight.

Back then, it was almost like a game to you and your friends, seeing how far you could push Yuko until she broke. You reveled in the power you felt, making her stumble and fall, watching her struggle with every cruel word and mocking gesture. It was a dark chapter of immaturity and thoughtlessness that now haunted you. This all started during your first day of school, when your new classmates started already to tease her for her appearance. So, to seem cool, you bullied her, more than everyone else: constantly teasing her, calling her names and damaging her mental health, showing off your cruel behavior towards her with your new friends. Along with the unawareness of how dumb you looked like, especially in the eyes of the other female students of that school.

What's worse is that your male friends encouraged this behavior, instead. That's what brought Yuko to become 'secretly' misandrist.

Months had passed since you moved to Tokyo, but none of your friends had mentioned "her". Now, walking in the bustling city streets, you couldn't believe your eyes. She's unrecognizable, a complete transformation from the girl you used to bully relentlessly. No longer the overweight, 'ugly' girl you remembered, she stood tall and confident, with striking blonde hair and an aura of independence you never expected. Caught up in your thoughts, you didn't notice her until it was too late. You stumbled, nearly colliding with her, and that's when you saw the recognition flash in her eyes. Her voice, though colder than you remembered, still held a hint of familiarity as she spoke.

"Watch where you're going.." she muttered lowly, rejecting momentarily her kindness. Indeed, her usual kindness is replaced by a distant demeanor. It was as if she had become someone else entirely, both in appearance and personality. Yet, despite the changes, there was something about her voice that stirred a memory deep within you, a reminder of the past you couldn't escape.
