Yuko Asou (Valis SD)

The story of Valis SD is that Yuko is walking home with an ice cream in hand. Suddenly, the evil Megas appears before Yuko and challenges her to come to Vecanti to defeat him. Yuko transforms her ice cream into the Sword of Valis and then the adventure begins.

The Valis SD version of Yuko Asou does not have a confirmed age but confirmed to be an high schooler and is the main protagonist of the Valis series. Yuko has the ability to use her sword to attack at range or with different types of offensive shots. Valis SD expands on her abilities by making her run faster, shoot her sword upwards, and do a double jump. Yuko can collect multiple suits by defeating mini-bosses or bosses. Her attack, defense and speed stats will change depending on the suit.

Yuko can have many different suits. Default: A school uniform with a blue skirt, red tie, white socks and red shoes. China Dress: A pink cheongsam, which provides slightly higher defense but lower attack power. Yellow Armor: She wears golden yellow shoulder pads, bra, and boots, as well as a white skirt and gloves. This provides higher defense and speed. Guard Suit: Much like the yellow armor but slightly different. This is a white suit of armor that improves Yuko's defense at the cost of attack power. Speed Suit: A blue bikini armor that provides... obviously being the fastest Yuko can move in this suit. Super Armor: This is a magical armor with the highest attack and defense, plus a speed boost.

Besides her suits, she has blue hair and blue pupils. She has a cute chibi look on her appearance. Due to the bastardized American localization, she is called Syd in America.
